Matt Brown Wiki
Matt “The Immortal” Brown is one of the more popular fighters to make his name on The Ultimate Fighter reality show, having competed in The Ultimate Fighter 7 middleweight tournament. Although he was unsuccessful in that tournament, Brown has established himself as a force in the UFC, balancing competitive losses to Dong Hyun Kim and Ricardo Almeida with dominant victories over Matt Arroyo, Pete Sell and James Wilks. Brown is known both for his ability to withstand punishment and for his penchant for finishing opponents inside of the distance. Matt Brown is a true UFC veteran with 13 fights inside the octagon.
Undefeated with three wins in 2012 Brown would finish the year strong with a big win over Mike "Quick" Swick at UFC on Fox: Henderson vs. Diaz finishing Swick in the second round by TKO. In his next bout he was the underdog against Jordan Mein at UFC on Fox 7. Brown would come out on top again finishing Mein in the second round in a Fight of the Night performance that would improve his win streak to 5. He would look to keep that streak alive when he faced Mike Pyle at UFC on FOX Sports 1. He would once again impress and finish his fourth straight fight by TKO when he finished Pyle in the first round earning himself Knockout of the Night along with Travis Browne. With the win Brown should certainly be facing a top contender and possibly earn himself a title shot with another win. He will look to get his 7th straight win when he faces Erick Silva at UFC Fight Night 40.
