Following the first TUF season to feature teams from opposing countries, The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale crowned two British Tournament Champions. Ross Pearson won the lightweight tournament and James Wilks won the welterweight tournament. In the main event, Diego Sanchez earned the first title shot of his UFC career by defeating Clay Guida in one of the best fights of the year.
