@RWLawman...I actually had Gray ranked #1 until recently...the way I see it so far is Frankie and Gray have fought twice and Frankie has yet to show he can beat Gray to me and Gray has beaten and damn finished Frankie in their fights...I like watching Frankie fight, but I'll be picking Maynard to win once again

Well, I'm not a Gray Maynard fan by a long shot, but I'll give him the #1 spot if he defeats Edgar in their upcoming bout.  And guess what?  Edgar will probably fall to 3rd or 4th in my rankings.  But, the champ, regardless of how I feel about him, will stand on top of the mountain.  That's the whole point of having a champion.

If Frankie does lose he'll fall to #2 or #3, but no farther right now

Even though Edgar is the UFC champ Melendez is the top lightweight in the world with edgar a close second

Melendez is just as overrated as Miller imo. Who's he beat? The untested Kawajiri and Thomson? Aoki?

guillard and henderson are definitely the two nastiest guys angling for a title shot now, with miller, cerrone, guida, sherk and tibau all having title potential.

I don't think mine is quite final but only in terms of placement, since those listed I would have in my top 10.

Edgar doesn't get enough respect for holding the title in a tough division and 2 wins over BJ Penn.  I rank the Strikeforce guys a little lower because I'm not sold on the level of competition there. UFC LW > Strikeforce LW.

I got a couple days before I have to update mine but I think Pettis's win over Henderson is current enough to keep him ranked ahead of him

My list looks all wrong to me, but I can't see doing it different.  I don't see Guida as #4 really, but by my criteria he has to be ahead of Pettis, who has to be ahead of Bendo, who has to be ahead of Miller, and I can't see dropping the whole mess of them any lower with Miller's 7 fight streak only just broken.  This is what I came up with in the end.

@Dakej I feel the same way ("My list looks all wrong to me, but I can't see doing it different"). The lightweight division in the UFC alone is such a loaded division with an everchanging #1 contender spot that it's really hard to put down where each person belongs. And then you Aoki, Melendez and Alverez just messing things up even more lol.

The only sure thing who is the #1 and #2 ranked are.

@Dakej..you're thinking the exact same thought process I am on, our rankings will be completely the same once I update mine aside from me having Guillard at 9 instead of Siver

I haven't updated my rankings yet, but I can tell you Cowboy is moving up and Bendo is moving up.
