They can't really make a glove to fix the problem or atleast haven't yet so I think what they should do is really start penalizing people more.Two eyepokes is an automatic point and to enforce it properly incorperate ref's being able to see a replay like in some other sports,that way people don't fake it or start playing that game.

Bellator/everlast 's gloves has significantly decreased eye pokes & hand breaks. i remember when bjorn offered dana the chance to use them with the ufc.

Refs need to make it a point of emphasis to A.) Act preemptively to stop eye pokes by giving fighters "judging distance" with their fingers extended one, maybe two warnings, and then taking a point. And B.) The commission needs to change the rules on eye pokes by giving them more time to recover. You can take 5 minutes for a low blow, but if you get gouged in the eye you get about 30 seconds to a minute to decide whether or not you're going to be able to SEE DURING A FISTFIGHT. It's slightly important and guys should be able to take 5 minutes to recover their vision as best as possible. It might cut down on some of these NCs due to eye pokes.
