Just letting you know that there is 0 chance of Rory MacDonald dethroning the current champion of his weight class.

Hypothetically, if GSP moves up to face Silva, Rory would be my favorite to claim vacant 170 belt. Rory may move up to 185 after the Condit fight as well. I'd say he has as good of a shot against Silva as anyone else at 185, very little. Third scenario, GSP and Rory fight, similar to Jones and Rashad. There is always a chance. That being said if you disagree, fill out your own version.

I thought I filled this out already ,guess not .

I just picked one from every division that I think has the best chance.

Some are probable/hopeful  Drops/ rises in division      Aldo (LW) Rashad (MW) Mendes (vacant FW) Gegard (vacant LHW )

@ livetowrestle, isn't his fight with Frye the one where they are holding each other with their left hands and punching each other in the face over and over?

Definitely Renan Barao. Can't say the same about Rory Weidman or Texiara.

Frankie Edgar:  I think he can exploit a lot of the weaknesses Aldo showed against Hominick. He'll no doubt be the toughest opponent Aldo has ever faced.

That main whole was a very bad weight cut. Aldo is just gonna expose that he throws about 1000000000 feints before he actually throws a strike

Several possibilities.

1. Frankie Edgar can defeat Jose Aldo

2. John Dodson can defeat Mighty Mouse

3. Daniel Cormier can defeat Jon Jones

4. Alistair Overeem could defeat Cain Velasquez

5. Gray Maynard could defeat Benson Henderson

I would not pick any of them to actually pull off those wins, but they are still quite credible possibilities.

I'm actually picking Dodson tonight. He and Mighty Mouse are so similar in their positive attributes (speed, wrestling, accurate shots) but I think Mighty Mouse really lacks knockout power while Dodson has a power overload. I'm also gonna take Frankie and Alistair, but those are just me playing favorites. Absolutely anything could happen in either of those fights.

Cigano can take his belt back, but that will probably only happen on the end of the year.

MacDonald can get Barão's interim belt.

I think Renan Barao is the most likely to dethrone the current champion of his weight class.  I think he'll defend the interim belt against Michael Macdonald before unifying the belts by beating Dominic Cruz who will be coming off an extended layoff.  Aside from that I think every current UFC champion is going to defend their belts in their next fights, but we'll see.

I think Barao will beat Cruz coming back from an 18+ month layoff. If McDonald beats Barao he will move to # 1 on my list.
