@Erison I downvote posts like that (if it even occurs to me to do it) because they're low-effort. I never downvote posts people have actually put thought into, even if I don't agree with the predictions contained therein. That said I am also a vulgar puerile troll and will downvote anybody who complains about being downvoted, and upvote anything I find funny regardless of whether it makes sense  to or not.

I also downvote firefist whenever he posts anything, and I encourage everybody to do the same because he has admitted he reports everybody who posts anything he doesn't like. He is that kid who at recess followed people around reporting their misdeeds to the teacher. A truly craven, pointless creature who never has anything interesting to say about anything, never has an opinion of consequence at all. When he isn't posting platitudes on this site he's probably just wheeled back into the service pantry like an electric pony ride at the mall that is completely dead until it is fed a quarter.

Finally double checked my tonight's picks. Changed only one pick. I actually went back and forth with Kai/Cody fight and I understood that I cannot trust Cody in this one. My pick is Kara-France by Ko. Maybe it will go to a dec,but not in favor of Garbrandt.

To be fair, while Greg has pretty sensitive skin for things that make the site look bad. He has pretty thick skin about his own person. I mean @Fish has pelted him and about every aspect of his character before and I don’t think it ever got a rise out him.

@Tioeken I've definitely pissed Greg off for real before. Don't doubt it. I have also made him laugh quite few times also. Sometimes I can feel him smiling (Yes you are, Greg LOL) at some absolutely deplorable WMMA thing I've written, but obviously it's not something he can ever admit to. But yes, he has the right temperament for moderation. I don't think he cares about getting downvoted any more than I do.

If i made a boat load of cash off a Website for generational wealth. Yeah, i would be concerned about how the website looks. Especially today, mobs of angry basement nerds looking to cancel your business at the slightest infraction.

Nobody who has enough money to never work again actually 'works', in the traditional sense. If that were the case he'd already have delegated everything to other people and would have taken a new direction in life. He wouldn't be washing dishes caused by ****tards like me every day here. Or he'd have thrown a whole bunch of money at people who are better programmers to develop an app etc and develop the site far beyond what it is currently.

I don't doubt he's doing well enough though. At least, I hope he is.

I wonder what a site like this makes/costs. It's low-key, I don't ever get any ads, no push for premium subscriptions or any obvious monetization. But its also sooooo widely used, it's practically industry standard for everyone but the three people on the UFC broadcast (when the cameras are on anyway).

I found out the most true sign of humility is to admit wrongs and not dig your heels in.

You question a police officers authority. They double down. dig their heels and defend thier position even harder. Even when faced with clear and absolute evidence of wrong doing or mistakes.

The same is said for most people in a position of Authority. Many will play with words and phrases to never directly take responsibility or admit fault or any mistake they made.

So when i see a person of authority 1)admit mistake or fault 2) when pressured about a mistake and not double down on thier position but take up interest in opposing views. That is when i feel respect for the individual and see humility in their actions. This is a rare thing
