I've got to give Story some credit though. He did stand toe-to-toe with Thiago at the end of the fight. Definitely a brilliant ending to the fight.

I agree, jaykool. It was still a good fight though. I thought the same thing about Alves' missed opportunities.

Alves lost himself that fight, he only has himself to blame. He knew that Story was a wrestler, and he did nothing to counteract his attack. I'm disappointed in Alves.

On another note. Could Rick Story be the guy to dethrone GSP?

It's impossible for me to finish 1st now due to someone being ahead of me and having all the same picks for the remaining fights. I can get between 6 and 9 out of 10 correct now. 7 or 8 correct is most likely. I'm very happy with 8.

LOT of credit goes to Rick Story for being fearless and letting Alves know he would attack anywhere, and not back away from striking exchanges.

i dont see story beating gsp. gsp will have a better strategy and will stop all the takedowns.

@jaykool, definitely not. He's a great worker, but i still dont think he'd be able to get GSP down. Infact GSP would probably take him down.

Just a thought that popped out about Rick Story. I'm pretty sure it will be a long time before we see GSP lose, but I can always dream can't I. LOL.
