I'd like to see a list for non-competitors.  Example:

Rorion Gracie
Helio Gracie
Satoru Sayama
Antonio Inoki
Bruce Lee

This is a great idea.  We're basically voting on our own Hall of Fame here!

Does this list have an order?  Like does #1 imply that they are the best in the Hall of Fame or what?

Conventional wisdom would tend towards ranking the most deserving hall of famer closer to the top, yes.

This would be my first class inducted.

edit: just realized Couture is missing, let me remedy this.

2nd edit: Hughes just misses the cut at 11.

My list is ordered that way, but no one gets on my list until they retire.  That's how the real Hall of Fame should be.  Currently they just use if for longstanding company men, to help them promote fights.

Or longtime hypemen of clothing companies, who die.

And another thing!  If we're going to have a Hall of Fame, there should actually be a HALL of FAME, in Vegas, that I can go to and see memorabilia and whatnot.  Come on UFC, make it happen!

I'd really like to put Chris Lytle on this list, but I can't objectively say for sure he'd get in, sadly.
