Hmm, I don't think that was the correct decision. I thought 29-28 Borg.
I take no pleasure in the decision perfect.

Came down to the first round. That was pretty close. 2 and 3 were pretty easy to score. Could've gone either way.

First was clearly a 10-10 how can you give that to anyone???

The last two were easy to score.

To you guys saying that Ortiz won rounds 1 and 3:

He probably did. What I am saying is that those rounds were horribly close, while round 2 was a complete domination by Borg. The flawed scoring system allowed Ortiz to get the win without really doing anything.

I agree, the scoring system is flawed. The reason it works for boxing is because there are so many rounds, so when it goes to decision, it's a better reflection of the fight than it is when its used for MMA

Round 2 was easily Borg's while I gave 3 to Ortiz. Round one was the tossup ... robbery? I think it needs to be much clearer to be called a robbery.

If anything, it was Ortiz getting a karmic payback for the Moraga fight.

Round 1 was the round that decided the outcome of the fight.

Round 2 Borg clearly won.

Round 3 Ortiz won. He controlled the pace, where the fight took place and landed the more significant strikes for the majority of the round.
