Xavier Foupa-Pokam born 3 July 1982, in Paris, France. He is known for his Muay Thai, he spent most of his career in british MMA promotions as BAMMA and Cage Rage where he faced some fighters like Martin Kampmann, Paul Daley, Murilo Rua.

Professor X made a brief career in UFC, facing Denis Kang, where he lost by unanimous decision.  One event later he was sheduled to fight in the main card against Drew McFedries where he lost by devastating first round knockout. The UFC cut him after that loss. 

Since the UFC release, he only gone 2-6, with four submission losses. Then he signed with Super Fight League, where he won by TKO due to injury against Joey Guel in the first SFL event. He is scheduled to make his second apparence at SFL 6 against Claudio Henrique Da Silva. He actually trains at Snake Team with Cyril Diabaté.

Foupa-Pokam is also the current Super Fight League Middleweight Champion, having won the vacant title by defeating John Troyer via first round KO at SFL 14.
