I for one cannot wait until this event happens.  There's a few good fights on the card already, not to mention the winner of TUF 17 will be crowned.  Also the next TUF coach opposite or Rousey will be revealed as well.  It'll be a good card.  Let's hope no injuries affect any of these fights.

@Condit too soon to say. He didn't freak out when he lost, and he did have a lot of success in this fight. With proper coaching he can learn a lot from this fight. I'm honestly really excited to see him again.

All credit to Gastelum but Hall handed that fight to him...

If you're going to be that relaxed against a guy who you've seen fight, who you've ******* trained with for 12 weeks and you know exactly what he can do and how good he is then you deserve to lose.

Given Hall's confidence issues I wouldn't be surprised if he is relieved that he lost due to the pressures that winning would have brought.

@Cthu... I thought Hall's ground game actually looked a million times better.  He lost b/c he was was too hesitant on the feet... wouldn't pull the trigger.

I thought Hall clearly won the second round. The third was super close. I was honestly surprised they didn't have a 4th round.

Lol he fought like such a ******.  Good for Kelvin though.  Pressured the hell out of him but instead of trying to actually fight and win, Hall instead decided to dance.

Ok, now I need Urijah Faber to win this next fight, then I'll be really happy, and after I finish this next shot, I'll be really drunk. LOL!!!!! Great card so far tonight. All the fights have had some great moments.

@CthulhuJones - There was no reason there would be a draw.  No 10-8 rounds, no points deducted.  A close fight does not make a draw.

Gastelum winning probably didn't make Dana White happy, but I will say I'm stoked to see this.  Nothing makes TUF look better than when a guy who honestly wasn't seen as a serious contender for TUF improves tremendously as a result of the show and the opportunity it brings (namely the top level coaches that they probably never get otherwise).

I don't know anyone who would have picked Kelvin to win when the season first started (I know I sure as heck didn't), but his improvement was a great story to watch unfold.  Even Sonnen said he went from being the least threatening guy on Team Sonnnen to a legit threat (don't remember if Sonnen ever said he could win TUF though).

The other guy that comes to mind when seeing this kind of improvement over the six week show is Rashad Evans, seen as one of the weakest fighters at first on his season, but he went on to improve and win TUF 2 and obviously we've seen his success!  Not saying Kelvin's gonna be a champion, (certainly not as a Middleweight, he's too small), but if he cut to Welterweight.... he could be a beast there, especially considering he's only 21.  I look forward to seeing how his career works out!
