I disagree, I think that says more about the depth of the Canadian regional scene than anything else. Winning titles against guys who are (7-5), (5-3) doesn't count for much. Paiva isn't actually bad, he went to a split against Kai Kara France in Australia. That's more impressive to me than Gordon's whole career.

I'd say 1st round KO. Dude has major power. Sakai has been finished in his last 2. Bam bam gets the KO.

You act like sakai is a glass chin. he got koed at the last second by rozenstruik who is top 3 hardest hitters in the ufc, and the other loss was a ground and pound in round 5.

Yeah rozen hits hard but I think it’s safe to put tuivasa up there for hard hitters. There’s a reason he has 12 first round ko’s with most under a minute

Plus Sakai likes to dart on a throw a flurry of punches. If he gets into wild exchanges like that against tai then he’s ******

How can you say "I act" like anything by implying he's been finished? Lmao. Get your **** stained panties out a bunch. I said what I said which is my opinion. He's getting KOd Rd 1.

In my opinion, the two most likely fights to end in Round 1 is Nunes vs Pena and Costa vs Kelley.
Nunes might streamroll Pena either by knockout or submission.
Costa is a nightmare to deal with in Round 1. He's going to throw everything at Kelley.

Kelley can throw up subs if the fight goes to the ground too ( highly unlikely)

If Costa doesn't gas in the first by putting everything be has on the table (example : Yanez fight) he could stretch it for 2-3 rounds just gotta pace himself right.

Yeah that's what I just noticed too. I just hope this doesn't go like the Brandon Davis fight. I don't put Tony Kelley on the same level as Brandon Davis though. I also have watched every single Costa fight since that Davis fight, he has improved greatly since then. The way he throws his combos are more calculated now, I think he was just nervous in his UFC debut because he wanted to do a spectacular job.

But then it’s also hard to judge because Kelley has never fought someone with as good striking as costa. Plus Kelley is incredibly hittable

Oh 100% he showed us he actually can strike and doesn’t just have crazy power. His jab gave yanez some trouble and I gave him round 1 in that fight. I agree with you about the nerves too, he was just fighting weird that night.

Costa has a better chance to get a TD than Kelly with his pressure. Kelly has been taken down 10 times in his 2 fights. 5 by Kamaka and 5 by Ali .

The shots that Yanez took from Costa would have put anyone else out. Yanez is just a completely different animal. The unorthadox shots that Davey Grant was throwing at Yanez, he was shrugging it off like it was nothing.

I also think that ya ez fight was A combination of body shots and gas tank. I don’t think costa was fully gassed but then those body shots sapped whatever cardio he had. As long as costa has enough gas to sc**** out a round 2 ( if he doesn’t ko Kelley) then idc if he gassed and loses the third
