i think velasquez can beat jds. he was doing great but simply got caught. he should have utilized his wrestling advantage

ur right he did lose. he lost fair and square. im not debating that im just saying i beleive velasquez is a better fighter he just didnt perform well that night

There's a ranking for favorite fighters, and I wish people would use it for their favorite fighters instead of ranking them number one divisionally.  You tell me Alistair Overeem is your favorite fighter, that's cool.  Tell me he's the number one heavyweight, you're an idiot.

We can't tell the future and no HW champ has had a long reign. But rankings are about now not tomorrow. If JDS loses he will lose the top spot but as of today he is #1.

overeem is not even close to one of my favorite fighters never has been never will i just beleive he is a better fighter than jds and that is why i have him before him

No one would rank Overeem # 1 unless they're biased towards him(or against Dos Santos).  It defies logic.  Take a long hard look at Overeem's record and think to yourself, "Is this the record of the number one heavyweight in the world?"
