Jones or no Jones, we're in for a fantastic night of fights on Saturday when UFC 187 kicks off from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UFC Fight Pass prelims begin at 630pm ET, followed by FS1 prelims at 8pm and the PPV main card at 10pm.

I'm going to be on a flight during the bulk of this noise, so I shall live vicariously through your Forum chatter when I debark at Logan Airport.

You've got to remember Dodson ahsn't fought in a year and for a guy that banks on highly explosive outbursts coming back from a torn ACL is not easy. Also you've got to factor in that even when at his best he gives away large portions of rounds searching for the knockout and his current performance isn't particularly shocking.

Since Johnson and Dodson first fought, it seems Johnson has been getting better and Dodson's development has seemed to stagnate. Probably a lot of that is due to Dodson's injury and maybe fighting a friend.
