Jones should finish Rampage and Rashad early

Whether you think Evans would beat Jones in their match-up doesn't matter.  The fight hasn't happened yet, and right now Jones is the champion.  That makes him number one.  Everything under number one is up for debate, and can change based on opinion and articulation, but until someone beats Jones ... @RWlawman.. I disagree because that champ is unproven .. Rashad has beaten better competition in his last 3 than Jones in his last 3 fights..

Jones most important fight where he proved the most was against Shogun, Bader and Matyushenko fights didn't surprise me one bit and the Bonar fight at that time in his career was pretty awesome as well. But Rashad impressed the **** out of me this weekend, i never saw him coming out that agressive and fighting the way he did. The last person to stop Tito was Chuck in his prime, so i think it says alot about how much he's improved and the dynamics of his game. Not to mention he looked faster on Saturday than he has yet.... I really hope to see a Jones/Evans matchup now and TBH, Rashad Evans FINALLY made a fan of me!

@Thaigo For your rankings sure but for me it dosen't matter if the champ is unproven or the opinion is that Rashad is BEST EVAR! at Light Heavyweight. Jones is the champ which means he is the #1 dog.

I'll admit I was impressed with Rashad. He showed a little but of MMA rust for a minute or so but after that he was on fire. Still don't think he'd be able to beat Jones but if Rampage somehow (SOMEHOW!) beats Jones, then I would favour Rashad over Rampage.

Rashad : Thiago Silva, Rampage Jackson, Tito Ortiz. Jones : Shogun (rusty as hell), Bader, Matyushenko. Big difference!

Don't matter. Jones has the belt. That is the even bigger difference. If Rashad wants to be considered #1 he's gonna need to get that belt.

But if you wanna play that game. Thaigo dosen't count (hell his biggest win is against Keith Jardine o_O), Rampage was "rusty as hell" considering he was doing the A-Team more then training in his lead up to fighting Rashad and Ortiz is on the slide (despite that eye opening victory against Bader).

Rashad having a 70% chance of beating Jones?! That's funny.... maybe 25% tops.
