Sanchez is a warrior and most likely it will be  a great fight, but Melendez deserves a better ranked fighter the guy lost a split decision to the champ and he doesn't even get a low end top 10 opponent?

Gilbert Melendez should be getting a rematch but he won't 'cause Benson Henderson sold his soul to the Illuminati. ******' ********.

Diego's so ****** tho, and this is coming from a huge Diego fan.

I agree with you @legacy not only did Gilbert beat Benson , it was close but thought Gil won but Diego should have lost to Gomi. guess talk still gets you fights in the UFC. The blowout losses for Chael vs Bones and Nick vs GSP didnt sink in their minds I guess.

I got Sanchez by split decision in a fight that most people think Melendez won.

Sanchez probably should've lost to Gomi. Sanchez is always a game opponent, I just don't think he has anymore top level wins left in him. Melendez beats him in a decision. Melendez's inconsistency in how he fights makes it difficult to determine how he'll win though (dominant decision, or close decision), but I'll guess he comes out a little sluggish and loses the first round, then proceeds to cruise to the victory in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Please, NO BAD JUDGING.

Sometimes I see a fight that I think will be really close and then see a large percentage towards one fighter in the picks.

This looks like one of those fights, the other one that comes to mind is Hioki vs Elkins.

Poor Diego ... he got what he asked for ... Gil will destroy him.

This is good though, Gil needs to get a good UFC win so he doesn't fall into "Ian McCall-land", where you come into the organization ranked right up there and suddenly find yourself on a 3 fight no-win streak because you fought the two best fighters in the division.

Diego will put up a fight, but I don't see him taking this.

@yossgold Agreed, I like Gil and I'd like to see him get a few wins under his belt before making a title run. I think he's got the skills to get that belt
