Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 5 Perfect, 450 Points   |   Tied for 938th

Cain Velasquez returns as the champion to prove that he once again can be the best in the world. But standing in his way once again is Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva. Cain Velasquez coming off his big wins over Bigfoot Silva and the champion in Junior dos Santos to reclaim his belt. Where as Bigfoot is coming of 2 big victories, including once undefeated Travis Browne and in a huge upset over Strikeforce and K-1 champion Alistair Overeem.

They are set to meet again for a heavyweight contest for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

And for the co-main event we have a great striking battle in the former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos and the former K-1 champion and PRIDE FC veteran and modern day cinderella man, Mark "Super Samoan" Hunt. A true test in striking to find out who could be next for the title.

And for a battle of Light Heavyweights we have the Brazilian sensation in Glover Teixeira taking on an Australian contender in James Te Huna.

And to start out the Pay Per View Night we have 2 Lightweight matches starting with Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone vs a man making his UFC debut KJ Noons, and after that 2 top 10 contenders in TJ Grant and Gray "The Bully" Maynard will battle it out to see where they stand in the Lightweight Division.

A great night of fights for a great main card along with a must watch prelims.

Make your predictions and enjoy a great night of fights for the UFC Heavyweight Championship

No matter what, I'm still sitting in shock over the Roop/Bowles fight. @LnxGuy - I agree, where does Bowles go from here. He just hasn't been the same since coming to the UFC. Maybe being among the elite is just too much for him. I don't know, but I really thought that this was Bowles fight for the taking.

I think only the forums really over hyped Thompson at all. I don't remember them going too crazy other than just mentioning his credentials like they would with anyone. Clearly not a scrub.. lacking in some areas obviously but he just proved he's not that bad.

you guys complain about Goldie, the brazillian play-by-play guy said Antonio lost out of bad luck, because throwing the kick made him be taken down and the elbow that caused the cut.

jaykool, how on heaven's earth did you score this fight for Burrell??? Thompson clearly took the first two and I wouldn't blame anyone for giving him the 3rd even though I scored it for Burrell.

Bowles at 125 would be very interesting maybe a fight against Darren Uyenoyama could be good.

In MMA, fights are judged differently than in other combat sports.

Strikes landed means less than controlling your opponent.

People need to stop acting as if Thompson didn't clear beat Burrell. He clinched him against the cage and took him down and pretty much controlled the majority of the fight.

It's a given he won the fight despite the amount of strikes landed.

Also the judges don't watch the fights counting how many strikes a fighter's landed, they just watch to see who they thought was more dominant in the round and in MMA the fighter who controls where the fight takes place for the majority of the round is the winner.

By scrub I mean he will never beat anyone in the top-15.

Overhyped most definitely. He will never be a top tier fighter.

@ED209, I wouldn't jump on the Roop bandwagon too soon ... he was getting clipped in the 1st and Bowles blew his wad ...

Roop is a good fighter, don't get me wrong, and you have to beat a fighter who's gassed and he did so in spectacular fashion, but he hasn't suddenly become a contender ...

So is Roop technically a top 10 fighter now? since he took out #8?

The loss for Bowles isn't as bad as everyone thinks. I like to give fighters a reset whenever they change weight classes. Roop isn't that bad of a fighter. But not top 10. Top 15? Yeah, let's go with that.

On a side note, I don't know why, but I'm so excited for the main card tonight. During the weigh-ins last night, I was giggling like a little schoolgirl. LOL. I'm ready for the fights tonight. I've got my beers, some carne asada, and some Captain Morgan for later!!!!

I hate how everyone hypes scrubs like Wonderboy. Just because he's flashy. Plenty of people said he's a future champ. He just isn't that good of a fighter. If he actually fights some UFC caliber talent he will get demolished.

He fights at 170 aka the division filled with wrestlers. Good luck with the run.

But that's just my opinion.
