I for one cannot wait until this event happens.  There's a few good fights on the card already, not to mention the winner of TUF 17 will be crowned.  Also the next TUF coach opposite or Rousey will be revealed as well.  It'll be a good card.  Let's hope no injuries affect any of these fights.

If Andrews got the takedown and he was already done. Can't wait to see what Kelvin has for him.

Interesting matchups.  I wonder why Zak Cummings didn't get on this card?  Injuries?  At least Bristol Marunde gets his chance, but against Clint Hester, that could be a tough one for him

Hester has good and powerful stand-up but his ground game looked atrocious...I think Marunde gets the sub.

Solid TUF finale card.

Zak injured, that's why he's not on the card.

I like Clint's chances against Bristol and Kelvin's chances against Uriah.

Wow wow wow! Kelvin Gastelum will not be denied! I agree with what Dana and Chael said about this match up. While Uriah Hall's victories are stellar and unforgettable, Kelvin has been the dark horse throughout this, and i could very well see Kelvin winning even this match up. I cant wait for this.

Bubba vs Gilbert on the main card? What the hell? Maybe they think he has a lot more to offer and didn't necessarily get to show it seeing as both his losses were to the finalists? Who knows....

I expected Josh to give Uriah one hell of a fight and look what Kelvin did to him! If Kelvin can step up his game like he did every fight in TUF then he really could spoil the party. Very excited.

I hope Dylan Andrews beats Quinlan in the finals ... I like them both, but I think Quinlan's not ready yet and Andrews is a great guy who I'd love to see in the UFC.

By the way, does anyone else think that Andrews might be suited a bit better at welterweight?

@jaffa, yeah, I didn't get that pick for the main card either ... neither of them looked impressive, but Bubba's Jon Jones' boy and trains with Jackson so I guess he gets a bit of favoritism here ... they also gave him what's supposed to be a bit of a "gimme fight" ... Gilbert isn't exactly one of the powerhouses of the season yet he finds himself fighting on the main card. My guess is, Bones and Jackson asked Dana for him to be on the main card and the UFC for some reason want him to do well so they gave him Gilbert.

I think any one of the undercard fights makes more sense as a main card fight than Bubba/Gilbert. If they wanted Bubba on the main card so much, they should've matched him up with someone better in my opinion.

Yeah Bubba vs Gilbert is Facbook material...at best. But it was a very good season and I'm totally fine with the fact that everybody gets another chance on the finale card.

Uriah vs Kelvin is going to be good one way or the other. Hall has a very exciting style and it's beautiful to watch how he destroys his opponents but I'm rooting for Kelvin and the "cinderella" win here.

Looking forward to the card, should be some good action ahead of us...

Why is it that on TUF finale cards they only have 4 fights on FUEL TV, but on FX cards they have 6?

Looks lik Uriah Hall is the real deal.  I predict he'll fight his way into the UFC MW Top 10 pretty quick.  His kicks are the thing legends are made of.  Pat Barry, Jose Aldo, Cro-Cop category.

funny how they went from the worst season in history to one of the best yet... I think season 16 made them realize something should change, be it the production values of the show or the overall talent pool. great season, indeed!

Uriah has a bright future, for sure, but he needs to work on his defense, right now I can see some decorated wrestler just grapple******* him into a decision.

It's not funny, it's premeditated, you said it yourself ... after season 16 they had to do something dramatic, so the brought much more proven talent, produced the show differently, an interesting title fight for the coaches and a heavier weight class for more KOs.

It was no fluke. That's also why there wasn't any messing around in the house this season either. Fighters with more to lose won't ask their bros to let them bang or drink themselves to oblivion.

They also lucked out that the finale turned out to be talented underdog vs. potential mega-star, but you know how it is, when you do everything right, you're setting the stage to enjoy some luck too.

I'm glad they decided to retire the messing around BS.  From Chris Leben to Junie Brown, etc. It got old.

And it was premeditated because they believed it made for better, more dramatic TV.  But I always thought it was just ******** and took away from the entire project.  So good riddance.

im kind of suprised that bubba made it on the main card but josh and dylan didnt when they were in the semifinals. I think dylan especially shou;d have got the nod to be on the main card since he showed a ton of heart against uriah. Either way, this is an excellent card all around.

Uriah got this in the bag but the real winner this season is Kelvin no matter what happens.  the guys very talented and only 21.  He's gunna get a contract even if he loses on saturday and again, hes only 21, he very well may spend the rest of his career, which may be 15 years and 45+ fights in the ufc and Kelvin has what it takes to definitely be top 10 materiel.  i just hope they dont try to push him to the top to early and end up burning out at 25.
