Seichi Ikemoto Wiki

Seichi Ikemoto is a Japanese mixed martial artist currently competing in the lightweight divsion. He is a veteran of Shooto, PRIDE and DEEP. His specialty is his "double punch", in which he puts his hands together and throws them at his opponent.

Ikemoto is a former holder of the DEEP Welterweight Championship, which he obtained by defeating Hidehiko Hasegawa at DEEP - 36 Impact by unanimous decision. Ikemoto then defended his title against Hidetaka Monma at DEEP - 40 Impact, stopping Monma in the first round via TKO. Ikemoto lost the title by dropping a unanimous decision to Yuya Shirai at DEEP - 45 Impact.

Ikemoto was also a participant in the DREAM 2010 Welterweight Grand Prix where he lost in the first round against Marius Zaromskis by unanimous decision. The fight is most famous for Zaromskis backflipping onto Ikemoto's guard, almost getting caught in a leglock in the rocess.
