Pride Bushido 12 Wiki
In the Quarterfinals of the 2006 Pride Welterweight Tournament held at Pride Bushido 12, Denis Kang, Kazuo Misaki, Akihiro Gono, and Paulo Filho earned spots in the Semifinals with their performances. The Quarterfinals saw Dan Henderson lose in an upset to Misaki, while future MMA star Gegard Mousasi experienced one of the only losses of his MMA career when Gono submitted him in the second round.
Pride Bushido 12 marked the first Pride event to be shown for free in the United States, as it was aired on Fox Sports Net after being edited down to two hours due to time constraints.
