Predictions: 5 of 14 Winners, 1 Perfect, 290 Points   |   Tied for 3799th

Adesanya vs. Vettori II
Marvin Vettori, DEC
I think vettori can beat adesanya. Since the first fight (which is closer then it seems) vettori has evolved more while adesannya has remained with practically the same style with little to no changes. Once vettori manages to secure his first take down (probably in the second or third round) he will keep going for them relentlessly. After seeing the first fight again I dont think lasagna can ko/tko vettori, even the elbow that lasagna landed in the fight that looked like it inflicted plenty of damage, didn't do much and vettori ended up eye poking himself, which did more damage than the elbow (lol). Also if vettori mixes up takes down with his striking, he can outstrike lasagna. With that being said, time of the orcs has come!

Figueiredo vs. Moreno II
Brandon Moreno, DEC
I think moreno won the first fight and he will win this one. Moreno is much better on the ground then figgy and has better cardio. Figgy doesnt seem like he will bring anything much more then he did in the first fight, while moreno seems to be continuously growing right now. Looking foward to this.

Edwards vs. Diaz
Nate Diaz, SUB, R4
im not surprised ************s

Maia vs. Muhammad
Demian Maia, SUB, R2
Maia is really, really old and his time is coming. I want him to win and retire.

Craig vs. Hill
Jamahal Hill, TKO, R1
I think hill gets early ko/tko or stuffs takedowns and gets early ko/tko in the second, although im skeptical of how his cardio will hold up if he has to wrestle a lot. The reach advantage should allow him to keep himself out of take down range if used correctly.

Dober vs. Riddell
Drew Dober, TKO, R2
This fight is going to be absolute fire works

Anders vs. Stewart II
Eryk Anders, TKO, R1
this time in ya boi will spam nut shots

Murphy vs. Calderwood
Joanne Calderwood, DEC
I just want jojo to win

Dawodu vs. Evloev
Hakeem Dawodu
I think dawodu is more well round and has the tools to beat evleov if he uses them correctly

Kianzad vs. Davis
Pannie Kianzad, DEC
this girl beat sijara eubanks, next world champ.

Frevola vs. Camacho
Matt Frevola, DEC
semi coin toss

Peterson vs. Hooper
Chase Hooper, SUB, R2
The askren family has grown so much

Ziam vs. Vendramini
Luigi Vendramini, TKO, R3
this fight is going to be a banger. Luigi has looked good even when he lost, i just hope he can become more active.

Felipe vs. Collier
Carlos Felipe, TKO, R1
i dont know what to think of this fight

If you bet $100 on a Vettori, Moreno, Diaz, Maia parlay it’d be worth $11,500.

Don’t worry about me, got my bet locked. I’m just making sure to point out the astronomical unlikelihood of the unusually casual analysis this threads gotten off to.

Predictions: 7 of 14 Winners, 7 Perfect, 525 Points   |   Tied for 1794th

Adesanya vs. Vettori II
Israel Adesanya, DEC
I can't really see Israel Adesanya finishing Marvin Vettori and I'm confident that the fight will go the distance. I feel both have improved since their last fight but I think Adesanya is still rightly the favourite to win. I'm certainly not ruling out Vettori's chances completely though and there is definitely value on him at +200 and for him to win a decision, which I feel is his most likely route to victory is +435 so I'm certainly considering putting a tenner on each of those.

Figueiredo vs. Moreno II
Deiveson Figueiredo, DEC
I don't know who will win this but what I do know is that this should be the main event. I get that Adesanya is a bigger name or at least, a more recognisable one but in terms of the quality of the fight and what's at stake then this is the better fight in my opinion.

Edwards vs. Diaz
Nate Diaz, DEC
I can't see it happening but I REALLY want to see Nate Diaz his win this as his win over Jim Miller was one of the first I saw when I was starting to get into MMA and I've been a fan of his since then and combine that with the fact I'm not a fan of Leon Edwards despite being British, really makes me wish that Diaz wins this.

Maia vs. Muhammad
Demian Maia, SUB, R2
Maybe this is just me being nostalgic again but I think that even at the age of 43, Demian Maia still has a good chance of submitting Belal Muhammad.

Craig vs. Hill
Jamahal Hill, TKO, R2
I'm fairly confident that Paul Craig can survive the first round but I think eventually Jamahal Hill will overpower him.

Dawodu vs. Evloev
Movsar Evloev, DEC
100% chance of this one going the distance.

lol funny thing is, no ones even picking underdogs. The main fights are all 80/20 splits. It’s just the 20% turkeys posting their bad takes.

weird fight tbh, Collier has a more diverse striking set than Felipe who only throws overhands and 1-2s to the body. Collier i think can out work Felipe if he avoids getting knocked out

Ziam is a solid kickboxer, has really nice kicks and hands and if he's able to stick on the outside and avoid the powerful counter shots of Vendramini then he's gonna out point him with his outside fighting

Dawodu vs. Evloev
Movsar Evloev, DEC
this fight for me is so 50/50. Dawodu can have a ton of success if he attacks the calves of Evloev, this would stop the volume and footwork which Evloev is very very good at. but Evloev can definitely mix in takedowns and give dawodu a very hard time with his footwork. especially considering Dawodu struggled early with the footwork of Tukhugov in his last fight

Kianzad vs. Davis
Pannie Kianzad, DEC
if Kianzad can avoid Davis' grappling she'll cruise to a decision. Davis has a very solid ground game but she doesn't really shoot for many takedowns which i think will be her downfall in this one as she going to get pieced up by Kianzad who has superior boxing

Frevola vs. Camacho
Matt Frevola, DEC
Frevola will bring the fight and Camacho is going to struggle. Frevola can brawl and also mix in some wrestling which i think he'll do very successfully

Predictions: 6 of 14 Winners, 4 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 3182nd

Guy looks like your favoring wrestlers with this Maia, vettori type of pics. Remember this isn't the small.24 foot Vegas cage this is normal 30 foot cage. Izzy gets an extra 6 feet which he didn't have against Yan. Same with belal. The size of cage is huge for these type of fights grappler vs striker. Your going to find out pretty quick on Saturday

Nah

Predictions: 6 of 14 Winners, 4 Perfect, 400 Points   |   Tied for 3182nd

30 foot cage compared to 24 foot cage makes a massive difference for maia. He has 5 to 7 mins to get his sub in or he gets absolutely steam rolled the last 2 rounds. It's going to be embarrassing as a maia fan and bettor when you see him wasting takedowns like a 2 fight amateur

Belal has never been submitted in his career, could a 43 year old Maia do it? His BJJ skills are very sharp still, Belal is no Covington, Burns, or Woodley.

If we look at what has happened to Jacare, the same could be in store for Maia. At 43, you got to also consider he has never knocked a man out or TKO'd anyone in MMA. If Belal is smart, he should take this but if Maia gets his back it's over.
