Personally how it looked to me in the first one Anders beat the **** out of him till he gassed and purposely threw a knee to the head of a grounded opponent 7 days after tweeting how Yan should know the rules. It really looked like he threw that **** on purpose to get out of there. He was spent.

@HI Im Dave

The Association of Boxing Commissions implemented a rule in 2011 that said any special MMA fights that aren't championship fights can be scheduled for 5 rounds.

@ Hi I'm Dave

Because people have been asking for five round non-title bouts for a while now.

I'm all for five round fights if the matchup demands it. I like when they stack cards, but sometimes the 3 round co main is the real matchup. I like how in boxing 10 vs 12 rounds is contextual. 10 rounds is for prospects, tune up fights, veterans who are on their way out. 12 rounds is for real, prime, ranked fighters in important fights. Regardless of where it lies on the card/undercard.

Marvin's a ****** lunatic, lol. In the Embedded videos he's just stomping around the hotel screaming at anybody. I'd say Izzy's in his head but he's barely saying anything. Not sure its the good kind of fired up, either. More like the Jeremy Stephens "put his own head through glass window" kind. The kind a tactician can exploit.

I think is so awesome how Multi cultual the UFC is now, Just looking at the main card, Then A Nigerian New-Zealand, Italian, Brazialian, Mexican, English, American and Middle easten fighter on the card. The UFC is world wide now. Think Rose is the only Amercan champion at the moment,Compare that to a few years ago where the sport was domaneted by Amercans

Edit: forget Aljamain was champion, In my head I kept think Yan won that fight and Is champion. So 2 amercan champs

Just rewatched the first fight, I think Adesanya's going to get the knockout now. It wasn't as close as I remembered. Adesanya picked him apart in the first two rounds, beat up his legs and had him frustrated as hell. Marvin started doing dumb stuff like flipping him off and walking into a huge elbow then trying to tell the ref it was an eyepoke. He looked lost for long stretches. In the third he spent four whole minutes desperately fighting for three flash takedowns. Adesanya took no damage, was able to get up everytime, and Herb Dean even warned Vettori he needed to work like ten times. Then in the final minute, Adesanya gets back to work and Vettori looked spent.

Add two more rounds and Vettori was about to get dropped. When I see how Vettori's acting now, I don't see focus or motivation. I see the same blindly pissed off guy trying to tell the ref he got poked when he got elbowed. I feel like we all know a guy like Vettori. A guy who if he gets teased in a group of friends, gets so mad they can't even get their words out and their brain kinda breaks. It's not good mad. It's can't think straight mad.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 11 of 14 Winners, 5 Perfect, 690 Points   |   Tied for 208th

Adesanya vs. Vettori II
Israel Adesanya, TKO, R3
Holland tagged Vettori on the feet and was able to get off the ground. Israel won't be so easy to takedown and is a fantastically better striker.

Figueiredo vs. Moreno II
Deiveson Figueiredo, TKO, R2
Fig has that crazy power. Moreno ate a lot of those shots last time, but Fig is healthier and it's only a matter of time before one of those shots puts out the lights.

Edwards vs. Diaz
Leon Edwards, TKO, R4
Leon is bigger, stronger, faster and technically better everywhere. Almost even money inside the distance.

Maia vs. Muhammad
Belal Muhammad, TKO, R3
Belal is a tough fight. Maia should've gone lower in the rankings for his last fight. Belal pressures until the older man has nothing left.

Craig vs. Hill
Paul Craig, SUB, R1
Hill is too big of a favorite, considering he hasn't proven to be capable of stopping the power double. Craig's doubles have recently looked strong. Once on the ground, Hill definitely isn't a -300 favorite.

Dober vs. Riddell
Brad Riddell, DEC
Roughly even on the feet, but Brad probably mixes in some takedowns.

Kianzad vs. Davis
Pannie Kianzad, DEC
I believe Kianzad has the defense to keep it standing. Her boxing is maybe too sharp for Alexis.

Everybody is weighed in and good except for Steven Peterson and Figgy. With the layoff for Peterson, and the notorious weight cutting issues for Figgy this is making me nervous.

I hate to be that guy on this, but why the hell does everybody feel like they have to talk **** leading up to the fight? I know that hyping the event is part of the business, but this crap gets old. Pro Wirestling is it's own thing; why can't these guys just talk like normal human beings?
