Peterson vs. Hooper
Steven Peterson, DEC
Chase is tougher than he looks but I think he needs a finish to win this one. Peterson only been finished once, never been subbed.

murphy will have a lot of success pressuring Calderwood up against the cage and controlling her in the clinch whilst working for takedowns. She's a lot more well rounded hence why i think she gets the W

Anders vs. Stewart II
Eryk Anders, TKO, R2
when Anders started grappling and used his physicality he completely took over, and this is what he needs to do again. in a straight kickboxing fight Stewart just picks him apart, he's way faster and way more technical. Anders need to utilise his wrestling and just get Stewart backed up, once he does that he can then make it a dog fight and unload on power shots since Stewart keeps his hands low and fights in the pocket which will be his downfall

Holland hurt Vettori bad with a few punches. And to me Adesanya is like Holland with sharp takedown defense. Can be TKO for sure.

Wanna go for the Italian, but can't. Vettori just isn't a very good fighter all things considered. He's got decent grappling, but he's incredibly one-dimensional and far from dangerous on the feet. Hell, he's barely a threat once he gets guys down. Some people are predicting this goes similarly to how Israel's fight with Blachowicz did, and that's just insulting to Jan because Marvin isn't on that level at all. A clear path of victory for Vettori is there, but for a guy like Israel who already has pretty solid TDD, a training camp for him has to be pretty straight-forward. Would be quite a shock to see Adesanya lose to Marvin Vettori right now.

I don't think Israel Adesanya is unbeatable by any stretch of the imagination. I think fights against Whittaker, Gastelum, and even Darren Till are competitive. But it's gonna take a very well-rounded and technically sound fighter to beat Izzy -- Vettori is not that.

Figueiredo vs. Moreno II
Brandon Moreno, DEC
I think this goes 1 of 2 ways. Either Figgy gets a violent quick finish or Moreno survives, Figgy slows down and Moreno wins a decision. I think Moreno wins the decision this time.

Murphy vs. Calderwood
Joanne Calderwood, DEC
Man, I love JoJo!! But I get nervous AF whenever she's a favourite to win a fight. I have to pick her but I will not be surprised if she gets arm barred in the 1st!

Dawodu vs. Evloev
Hakeem Dawodu, DEC
Split decision with Lentz makes me revaluate Evloev. This comes down to Dawodu stopping takedowns, if he can he likely wins

Felipe vs. Collier
Carlos Felipe, DEC

Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 6 Perfect, 600 Points   |   Tied for 726th

Adesanya vs. Vettori II
Israel Adesanya, TKO, R4
Vettori has skills that should trouble Adesanya like solid 5 round cardio, a strong chin and good grappling. I don't think he has the ability to put all three of those skills together like Jan did. Would've given him a better chance prior to the Holland fight but every single rangy strike Holland threw ended up hitting Vettori. Especially when for 3 rounds Jan Blachowicz went toe to toe with Adesanya in the striking which set up the takedowns for rounds 3 and 4. Don't see Vettori doing the same.

Figueiredo vs. Moreno II
Deiveson Figueiredo, TKO, R3
Figueiredo saying that he's gonna keep his hands up and avoid a brawl makes me think that Moreno is gonna either eat the big shots and win a decision by volume and wrestling or get hit by one really clean shot and go down. This fight is such a tossup and really hard to predict.

Edwards vs. Diaz
Leon Edwards, DEC
Edwards is just much better all around. I just can't possibly see Nate Diaz winning 3 of 5 rounds and so the only possible way is if he subs Leon which would be hilarious but unlikely unless Leon is gassed which probably won't happen. Could see the doctor stoppage from those elbows but going with decision.

Maia vs. Muhammad
Belal Muhammad, TKO, R3
At 43 I don't think Maia has much of a chance here. The cardio and reaction time is likely not gonna be there, and he's facing a guy that's hard to takedown. I think Belal survives the takedowns and finishes him late when he's tired.

Frevola vs Mckenney

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 4 Perfect, 500 Points   |   Tied for 1929th

I just recently watched some tape on Mckenney. He’s not bad, but he’s way too green for the UFC. He’s able to time a good head kick and has a functional standup game, but a quick knockout is all I could expect from him. I don’t think he has the patience for a fight to ever go to a decision, and Frevola is absolutely going to grind the **** out of him. Matt also has a strong chin and is just as aggressive as Mckenney on the feet, so he could quickly put him in deep waters before the fight has really even started. Especially with Mckenney’s wide base, if that’s how he plans to look while fighting Matt, he might as well just put a sticky note on his chest that says “shoot for a double leg, *******”. Also, Mckenney has fought UFC competition, but never beat any of them. Mckenney is pretty much a can crusher who’s biggest wins are against other can crushers. Seriously, look at his resume, it’s absurd. The last guy he beat went on a win streak against four fighters with losing records. Matt by R1 SUB.

i don't think marvin is the better fighter at all and if past fights are any indication of how this fight will go adesanya clearly should win this fight. however im picking marvin anyways based off of my Gut Feeling. Amen

McKinney is a powerhouse and very exciting to watch, however i just think Frevola may a bit too smart for him, his striking is more cleaner, whilst McKinney's is quite sloppy, yet very powerful. i think Frevola gets the decision

Am I reading this correctly? McKinney fought four days ago? This will be his third fight in five weeks? Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm surprised that the commission approved this.

He in fact did fight last Friday. put Irizarry out cold from GNP from a closed guard. The power is definitely there but he's still so raw and wild. He loves to throw a left head kick but 80% of the time comes off his feet throwing it so hard and out of control lands on his back and rolls backwards to his feet. Instead of cleaning up the kick technique he instead figured out a quick way to get up lol Frevola might want to avoid a fire fight here and use his wrestling

Dunno what to think of Stewart-Anders. They both basically knocked eachother out in the first round. Stewart strikes me as the better overall fighter, but Anders was the one doing the damage when the fight ended...

Adesanya vs. Vettori II
Israel Adesanya, DEC
Stylebender takes care of Vettori to set up that Whittaker fight. I’d take Whittaker if I had to choose right now (but, i don’t).

Figueiredo vs. Moreno II
Brandon Moreno, DEC
Maybe that 1st bout was a fluke and maybe Fig was sick, but... I like Moreno.

Edwards vs. Diaz
Leon Edwards, DEC
Still rooting for Nate, though.

Craig vs. Hill
Paul Craig, SUB, R2
The Bearjew puts Sweet Dreams to sleep.

Dober vs. Riddell
Drew Dober, TKO, R2
Dober gets it done.

Anders vs. Stewart II
Eryk Anders, TKO, R1
Maybe don’t knee him in the dome while he’s down this time, Dummy.

Murphy vs. Calderwood
Lauren Murphy, DEC
No idea here, honestly.

Frevola vs. McKinney
Terrance McKinney, DEC
Strictly because name sounds like “Terence McKenna”. May take a “heroic dose” on fight night in his honor (also, because Drugs).

Peterson vs. Hooper
Chase Hooper, TKO, R1
Peterson also has a BJJ background, so I’ll take the (g&p) KO and not the SUB. Fight O’the Night potential here, maybe.

Ziam vs. Vendramini
Luigi Vendramini, SUB, R2
Luigi weathers the first round storm then subs Ziam in the 2nd.

Felipe vs. Collier
Jake Collier, TKO, R1
I’ll take Collier here but definitely like the Under.
