I find it interesting that Vettori is a bigger underdog this time than their first fight (it's close, was around +200 first time around). Vettori has improved his game in the 3 years since, and a blueprint has been laid out on how to beat Adesanya. Going 5 rounds this time, and assuming Vettori shows a grappling/wrestling heavy gameplan, he is definitely worth a play as the +210 underdog right now.

Citation needed on this blueprint to beat Adesanya. Y'all know this is a rematch right? And that Vettori tried like hell to take him down in their first fight and couldn't? Seeing Jan do it isn't going to give him extra strength...

Ziam vs Vendramini

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 4 Perfect, 500 Points   |   Tied for 1929th

Ziam sucks. I’m sorry, but he does. I don’t know what his deal is, but he is ungodly gunshy in standup fights. No, not technical, gunshy. He makes Uriah Hall look like Rob Hall. All he does is hug and play patty-cake with his opponent for three rounds till the judges USADA found smoking joints in a Mcdonalds parking lot shrug and give him a decision victory. It’s honestly annoying because I’ve watched some tape on him and he’s more than capable of finishing his opponent, he just won’t do it.

Vendramini ain’t no prodigy but he’s a hell of a lot less timid than Ziam, and will certainly give him hell in round one. Luigi by 1st Round KO.

Craig vs. Hill
Paul Craig, SUB, R2
Hill is going to fight emotional, 3 of his 8 fights are against the same bum with a terrible record, I got Craig here.

Anders vs. Stewart II
Eryk Anders, TKO, R2
If Anders doesn't throw non-stop dumb illegal knees like last time he should be able to win this.

Peterson vs. Hooper
Chase Hooper, DEC
Great matchup for Hooper.

I'm giddy at the prospect of Paul Craig staring into Hill's soul at staredowns only for his head to be cleanly (or not so cleanly) separated from his giraffe neck.

"The assassin baby" is gonna cry, "FIGGY" is gonna pick him apart and absolutely burry him in the octagon.

Tough fight for "IZZY" but result is gonna be same but i see a finish.

Another doctor or corner stoppage for "NATE".

And finally my most fav and confident fight "MOVSAR EVLOEV" he's a ******* beast anywhere in the octagon, easy win by decision or may be submission. Poor "HAKEEM" is more likely a sacrificial lamb here.

"KHAMZAT CHIMAEV" will be double champ holding 170lb and 185lb belts...

Adesanya vs. Vettori II
Israel Adesanya, TKO, R3
Izzy knows what people think is his weakness, Marvin gets pieced up and won’t get any of those takedowns he wants

Figueiredo vs. Moreno II
Deiveson Figueiredo, TKO, R2
Figueiredo power is going to be good considering he won’t have to cut so much weight so fast. He knows he was taken down at ease so there is no more threat

UFC is ruining fighting for me. Need new judges and new scoring system. They are incredibly inconsistent on what is more valuable during a fight. Seems they just blindly hand out decisions to who they like more or what happens in the last minute of the fight and forgetting about the rest. I can’t stand these judges and scoring system anymore. They are tainting the sport, it just isn’t what it used to be. And quit using boxing judges!!!

Do fighters use twitter or instagram more these days? I don’t have either, and was going to make one of the two to follow fighters personal lives a little more. Any suggestions?

Yeah fighters are on Instagram. Mostly just pictures/videos of inside their gym. Twitter is where they're funny or interesting.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 7 Perfect, 640 Points   |   Tied for 499th

Dober vs. Riddell
Drew Dober, TKO, R2
Interesting strikers fight. Drew Dober has much more experience and has faced high-level fighters like Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush, in addition to finishing good fighters like Nasrat Haqparast, Alexander Hernandez and Jamie Varner. Brad Riddell is undefeated in the UFC but presented serious problems in the first round against Alex Da Silva and clearly for Riddell this next fight is a step up at the competition level. Dober has the experience and power advantage of KO and not facing a grappler will allow Dober to exploit his level of striking.

Ziam vs. Vendramini
Luigi Vendramini, SUB, R2
In his debut Vendramini faced Elizeu Zaleski (who was a Top 15) in short notice, during the first round Vendramini dominated Zaleski from back control and was about to get the rear-naked choke, Vendramini was winning the fight until Zaleski knocked him out with a flying knee, after 2 years out Vendramini came back and brutally finished with a first round knockout to Ayari who had never been finalized in the UFC. On the other hand, Fares Ziam, who also has a 1-1 record in the UFC, was dominated on the ground in his debut by Don Madge and was also taken several times to the ground and controlled by Mullarkey (although the little action in top position cost the Australian a controversial defeat by decision). The Brazilian is a much more complete fighter compared to the French and if he takes him to the ground, Vendramini will probably get a rear-naked choke or an arm-triangle choke.
