There is bias in every list.  It's why Saku is #1 on mine.

Some of these lists are terrible. @ThiagoSilva9794  How can you have Tito Ortiz before Randy Couture? @ xbassistdoodx how can you have Severn (longevity and fighting cans in 3 tier promotions isn't greatness) and Torres (fighting cans then getting owned by almost every fighter of relevance isn't greatness) even on your lists? @ Minotauro11 How can you have Wanderleri before Chuck? R1zla and Rwlawman have the only sensible lists although the ordering is not exactly to my liking and no Matt Hughes on the formers list and with Royce just thrown on the latter. Seems like some of you just throw and old school fighter on there just because.

I don't see anything really bad about my list.  And @Raiman.. these members that have horrible lists.. atleast they took the time make them!  :)

If I knew how I would. And your list isn't that bad either; swap Hendo with Saku and it be pretty close to what I'd come up with.

@raiman, he lost to Chuck but has accomplished more in his career. When they were both in their primes Wanderlei was destroying people in Pride and Chuck was losing to Rampage. I like Chuck but the truth is he was only given grapplers, who are stylistically perfect for him, and he was never fighting the best. Until he came over to Pride and lost.

@Raiman:  Up top you will see a "RANKINGS" section.  Click on that section (next to FORUMS) and it gives you a ton of different rankings you build yourself.  Let me know if you need more detail.. would be happy to post up better instructions.

There's a lot of different ways you could interpret how to make your greatest fighters of all time ranking.

- Most talented P4P of all time?
- Biggest impact on the sport of MMA?
- Most accomplishments, titles?

Or you could take the wolfman route which doesn't make any sense at all :)

@raiman to make your own rankings, click on "rankings: 0 of 30 lists" on the right side of the page, next to your avatar.

Mine needs a little tweaking here and there.  I have to update all my rankings today... didn't have a lot of time this weekend to get them done.

@ Minotauro I don't want to diminish Wand's career but he defended his belt four times. Once to Tamura and Kanehara (quality opponents for a Champion to defend against?) and once to Arona and Page. In between those defenses he lost twice once to Hunt and once to Arona. In his 03 GP run he was given a clearly out matched Saku (Clearly because he beat him twice already) and  he decisioned Yoshida before beating Page. In his 05 run he was handed Yoshida again and Nakumaura before losing in an awfully boring bout against Arona. In the 06 OWGP he was again handed another Japanese can in Fujita before being Ko'd by Crocop then Hendo. After Pride folded no one can deny the amount of mass he lost in his transition into the UFC.

Chuck beat 7 former UFC Champions not far removed from their success, beat two of them twice and won seven fights in a row by T/KO. He too however, was put into retirement after being viciously Ko'd 3x so...

So subjective but I love to argue over ******** for (sometime) no reason.

Thanks for informing me how to make my rankings guys.

If I'm putting a female fighter on my top 10 GOAT list...Its not gonna be Tate or Kaufman...I think we all know who it'd be!

I think it'll be a while before a female MMA fighter earns a spot in the top ten greatest list.
