@franklin  Again, it might not necessarily be roids.  It could be a diuretic or something like that.  Not only that, there have been a recent trends of positive tests due to spiked supplements.  It could be possible that the supplements Jones take are spiked.  And believe me, I'm not wasting my breath over hoping Jones doesn't get popped for steroids.  I hate Jones with a ******* passion and hope that this is what it appears to be: him finally getting his comeuppance at the hands of USADA.  That said, as someone who views life though a skeptical lens, I am not going to jump to conclusions when there is gaps in the information that we have.  While it is highly likely it could be PEDs, I am waiting until USADA announces the results of the B test and what Jones popped for before I raise my pitchfork and call for his head.

I don't get why everyone's so sorry for DC.

Dude, by self admission wasn't they guy selling the card, only the guy banking on it. So yeah, it would be nice if he got it, but I'm not crying rivers overs someone not getting a payday he's not even earning. Dude jumped up like a little girl when Brock got added to the card. Even though he was telling the truth, a headliner and a champ acting like that makes that I don't really care if he doesn't end up getting the huge payday.

Had he got it, cool, he's a great guy, hard worker, champ. But are you seriously gonna feel sorry for someone not getting something HE SAYS isn't of his own doing?

“Hey Brock, is it Christmas time in the Cormier household? Because Brock Lesnar equals pay-per-view buys. He didn’t respond.”

“Then finally after the commercial ran (to officially announce it), I got a response from Brock that said ‘Merry Christmas, DC!'”

“I was like, ‘you have got to be kidding me!’ I had to take a moment, wept in the corner a little bit, and had to compose myself before Rockhold went out and fought.”

“It’s a big event. You have Brock Lesnar, who you can argue is the biggest star in UFC history, and I believe you have the most important fight that the UFC can put on right now.”

DC "earns" his payday by being one of the best fighters in the world. Not his fault if other guys draw more money than him.

Bummer.  I was out to a UFC Fight Pass party at the Red Rocks casino, and Forrest Griffin and Dan Hardy mentioned something about a fight dropping off the card.  Since they didn't mention which fight, I assumed it was somebody on the Fight Night event tomorrow missing weight or something.  I didn't know until I got back to my hotel that it was Jones with a USADA violation.  That bites.  The main event of the whole week and that D-bag gets popped.

I have read potential violation. Is it for sure or just potential?

Card went from miraculous to great,

still very disappointed.  I do believe one of the title fights should be the main event.

not sure why they didn't just fill Jones spot with someone else, why not someone like glover. or even a Gustafson rematch.

Looks like things have gone from bad to worse for Jones.  Not only has his B test turned up positive, but now, according to MMA Weekly (among other sources), Dana is done with Jones and is looking at cutting him from the UFC.

I'm not the biggest Jon Jones fan (in fact I am not a fan of him at all), but this is ******* rough.  Such a ******* shame that his UFC career is going to end this way. I know he has done a lot of dumb **** in recent years since winning the belt at 24 and has not made himself easy to sympathize with as a result.  That being said, it sucks that the only solution the UFC sees to solve this issue with Jones is for him to potentially lose his job.

No way in hell is the UFC cutting Jones. Dana is just done with him on a personal level.

There's no way they cut him, he would go to Bellator.
They need Jones to lose to someone first to pass the torch.

Is Jones going to Bellator really a concern? He's going to be suspended for years, and at the rate he's going he will probably end up in jail or dead before he has a chance at a comeback fight.
