A little excessive to give Benoit the whole pot, but I like it, especially since it went to a fighter who could really use that money.

As for Sampo losing his bonus, I totally see it, you get bonuses when you go the extra mile, he went the extra mile in the fight but didn't do his job perfectly so no bonus.

If you're assuming he and Sampo are both on the 4k/4k contract (I think it's more likely they're on at least 8k/8k, but just for the sake of crunching numbers) it would actually be $108,800
100,000 - FOTN bonuses
8,000 - show + win purse
800 - 20% of Sampo's assumed 4k show purse
Add that to sponsorship money for fighting in the UFC and you've got yourself quite the payday for a guy who lost his fight and there's a good chance he'll never have another year where he makes this kind of money, let alone one fight night ...
