Predictions: 5 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 250 Points   |   Tied for 1100th

UFC 142 is coming to you live tonight from that mysterious yet seemingly awesome place called Rio. Jose Aldo defends his belt against Chad Mendes in a compelling featherweight main event.

Things are scheduled to kick off at AROUND 7:30 eastern time for a single prelim fight on Facebook.com/UFC.  Then at 8:00 eastern time you can catch 4 fights for free on FX (for the first time, FX, not Spike!) . Finally at 10:00pm eastern time, plunk down your hard earned dollars to watch the Pay Per View main card.

Your prediction results and leaderboard ranking will automatically show up in any posts made here. If you want to embed your full listing of picks you can do that also.   Your picks, as well as a link to embed the image, and the top of the site-wide leaderboard will all be available in the right column on this thread.

Enjoy the fights and good luck in your predictions!

REMINDER: No requesting of or posting links to illegal streams of the Pay Per View broadcast.

Just got home from being out a while tonight, what a sick card. Barboza was unbelievable, i stared at the TV for about five minutes after wondering what the hell just happened after that. Aldo and Palhares were great too. Just ******* pissed about Erick Silva getting absolutely screwed, that fight was a total mismatch, now he has a loss on his record that shouldn't be there.

Great card. This card is for 2012 what 125 was for 2011 - a great standard bearer that will at least be in the running for card of the year especially when you consider how low expectations were.

Judges scores should've been read in Tavares/Stout but it was hardly a robbery even though I had Stout. Standups were pleasantly quick in Belfort/Johnson. Knew there'd be *****ing about it but I wish all fights were reffed closer to that than the way they usually are. The Silva DQ makes Mazagatti's job on Mir/Brock I look good and that's a hell of an indictment.

Cut list: Massenzio and AJ.

Carvalho deserves a TUF veteran. I thought he looked pretty good. Funch gets another one for the short notice but definitely on probation. Oliveira, meh. Omigawa is one tough bastard.

Barboza's KO was to KOs what Hendo/Shogun was to fights - an instant all-time great.

Great card, except for the The Silva DQ which soured the event a little for me. I really hope that gets changed to a win for Silva.

I feel ******** because I can never seem to get over 3 perfs including decisions. Silva DQ killed me. Great event though.
