I would go with Thiago as well, I think most people will be leaning that way

i'll take thiago b/c even though he won last time in brazil he was disappointed in his performance. plus he has the home crowd to pump him up. he will be looking for the knockout this time.

I'm not at all an Mendes fan so I hope the Aldo of WEC shows up and destroys him.  I'm torn on the Barboza/Etim fight.  I'm a big Etim fan.  He's got a great game and is fun to watch but I think Barboza is an animal and I'm taking him.

There could be some upsets on this card, Prater and Massenzio are candidates imo, i don't belief in Mendes though.

I think Funch could surprise a few people....he's got pretty decent power in his hands!

@Dielegende, I think Massenzio only wins if Palhares does something boneheaded.....which there is a good chance of

Gotta admit, I only remembered Funch as not winning in the UFC but he only has 2 losses - choke to Claude Patrick and lasted 3 rds with Hendricks. He trains with Gabe Gonzaga so he'll have his mentor in Brazil and Pyle's been known to underperform. Might be closer than I 1st thought.

And while I'm a huge fan and believer in the talents of Palhares, his "inconsistency" and the fact that Massenzio holds a win over Dan Miller worry me.
