kelvin gastelum vs israel adasanya. if israel stays on his pony and jab, jab, jab, leg kick, circle away, rinse and repeat he'll prolly win a boring decision. but i will be 100% rooting for kelvin to corner him and land that educated left hand right down the middle for the ko. however, my pick is adasanya by decision.

eryk anders vs khalil roundtree the ufc has pretty much fed eryk to the wolves and hes held his own even when losing. the fight with santos really impressed me, the kid has no quit in him. khalil has quit in the past and i dont see him winning this fight, eryk by ko round 1 or 2.

@Philip its like you've never seen izzy fight. He doesn't run he goes for the ko. Only time he didn't was against silva and I think thats just cause he was star struck.

@Free I'm pretty sure he won't want to get in range of Kelvin because he'll be looking to avoid getting singled, and that power left hand.

Yes but you forget izzy has the range advantage so kelvin is the one who has to get in range.

That's the point, he'll try and keep his range advantage, and he's not going to go headhunting on the outside.
I think he'll win. We'll find out how good his TDD is in this fight, but if it holds up it should be a cakewalk.

israel has 2 kos in his 5 ufc fights. he has a massive 81/2" reach advantage, hes not going to brawl with kelvin, in fact he would be a fool to ever let kelvin get inside on him. he has to know that. like i said im rooting for kelvin but my pick is adasanya by decision.

I hear you guys but, not including the silva fight izzy has always fought guys from range while methodically moving forward and pressing the action actively seeking the finish.
I've never seen him fight off his back foot moving away and keeping range. He tends too catch guys coming in.
While slowly moving forward.
I think if he fights hesitantly like he did with silva it will cost him.
But if he fights aggressively like he did against brunson he'll cash in.
What I don't see happening is gastelum trying to take him down and jujitsuing him.
Gas is a vicious little animal. Whoever wins its gonna be a ko. Just like gaethje barboza.
We all new that one was ending in a knock out.

Holloway vs Poirier
Max Holloway, TKO Round 4
Holloway fought 4 months ago and took out a young savage in Ortega. Poirier hasn't fought in 8 months, was whining about not getting what he deserved and is worried about kids in need instead of being selfish enough to win a world title. Not only that, but Dustins run is consisted of fighters on the tale end of their career.

8 months really isn't that long of a break. Poirier since losing to McTapper has won 8 of 9 getting caught by Michael Johnson. He wins that fight 9 out of 10 times over imo. Winning against fighters at the tale end? Gaethje shouldn't be at the tale end i don't think, Pettis just Ko'd Wonderboy. Ferguson didn't want the fight so this is the next best thing. I hope Poirier wins but I think Max will either outpoint him or possibly finish him late in the fight.

You got me there.
In his 21 fight Ufc career he pulled out of 1 fight due to injury making this his longest break between fights. His longest time between fights (prior to this one) was 7 months and he's fought as soon as 2 months apart. Shame on Dustin for pulling out of 1 fight and taking a career long 8 month break between fights. Damn that Poirier guy, how dare him...

MMA fans and short term memories at their finest. Holloway was out for 1 full year prior to his Ortega W. 3 times were on him.

I already knew all of that man. Hints why I posted the 8 months. Which is a long time out of competition. PLUS he's been complaining and worrying about the wrong stuff.
disagree? that's fine. But don't post dumb stuff thinking its a rebuttal.
