The OFFICIAL discussion thread has arrived, my children.

This should be a good one, chalk-full of intriguing and semi freak-show attractions. In short, it's everything a major Japan show should be.

Prelims are set to kick off at 1230am ET Saturday morning.

Who's staying up -- or getting up -- with me?

This thread is dedicated to hdmexiqtioner, who's day of birthing was recently celebrated!

Also, Miesha needs to dump Bryan Caraway and start dating someone who can give her better fight plans.

Great fight card, ma ninja's Maxi and Kyoji with the W's. Tanaka and Kang with a FOTY candidate, Teh Sex with the sexiest comeback of all time, straight up sexing on Sadollah. Dat beast savage Gyu Lim and Hunto with another walk off murder. Only bummer was Gomi losing, makes me dislike Jury even more, ******* **** guy...

I would also love to see this super cute translator at every UFC card, who cares if it's in Japan or not. She should be there for every card doing every post fight interview!

Jury should have had the 1st POTN. Don't know how he could've been more impressive. 1st rd KO was probably the only prop bet where Gomi might've been the favorite. At least Case got 1, he deserved it & they got FOTN right.

Blanco/Hooker - good fight

Only thing better than Case's finish was the cameraman's work. Beautiful angle to see Tokudome go out.

Sato should NOT be cut. I mean, my god, Erick Silva and Lim for your 1st 2 UFC opponents??

Lim & Kyoji did as expected.

Sicilia didn't seem to fight the choke very much if at all & Bruce Leroy didn't have near enough 3rd rd urgency.

I thought Walsh won too but I wouldn't call it a robbery. Actually I could've seen it as a draw also.

@gunn,

"*** was that Nelson ? he had hunts back then decides to stand up lol"

He didn't decide to stand up, he's too fat to hold that position on a thick dude like Hunt. It's like I've always been saying, Nelson's "amazing jitz bro" which everyone keeps bringing up even though he hasn't submitted anyone in more than 6 years isn't there anymore on account of his physique.

A fat dude like him couldn't never for the life of him throw any submission off his back nor keep balance while taking someone else's back (especially someone as fat as Hunt). Even though the technique's still there it's just physically harder for him to pull off most of the ground work on account of his body just not being mobile and flexible enough. How do you hip escape when your hip area weighs a John Dodson? Jitz without fluid hip movement is basically non-existent.

He's basically left with his top game (though taking someone down while not clinched on the fence is also hard when you're too slow and not explosive enough) and Crucifying Kimbo Slices.

Just because a dude knows the moves doesn't mean he can actually use them. My dunking technique is perfect but you won't see me throwing any 360s on a regulation basket any time soon :)

I think Roy always been more of a positional grapler. He still has very good top control, but Yoss is right his physique limits his abilities. However defensively, I think he as good as he ever been, but he not as threatening offensively. Even though Werdrum messed Roy up when they fought, Roy handle himself pretty well on the ground compared to vast majority of people who have ended up on the ground with Werdrum.
