UFC 110 Wiki

UFC 110 set another mark in MMA’s global expansion as the first UFC ever held in Australia. Despite an absolutely rabid crowd packing the arena and an impressive card for longtime fans, the event drew the lowest Pay Per View numbers of the year for the promotion, with fewer than 240,000 buys.

Inside the Octagon, undefeated heavyweight contender Cain Velasquez earned a shot at the belt by knocking out Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in the first round with crisp boxing, while Wanderlei Silva made a successful middleweight debut by defeating Michael Bisping in a close-but-Unanimous Decision.
