He showed great defensive wrestling throughout in his college wrestling. As far as I'm aware that's his best asset, and how he was so successful. College wrestling doesn't always translate but Davis has been successful with his offensive wrestling so far, I assume the defensive part has come along as well.

@minotauro .. Yeah you're probably right but I was just thinking we haven't seen his defensive wrestling in mma so it's hard to tell, And Rashad mixes up the strikes with the takedowns brilliantly well which Davis won't be used to (only in training) ...  I mean Munoz offensive wrestling is great but his defensive isn't on the same level, It's the same with a lot of fighters.

I think the one area Phil does have an advantage in this fight is his clinch. He is very strong inside the clinch, and as seen in his past fights, even if he can't get his opponent down, he still controls them fairly easily.
