In his last 13 fights, Max has not fought anyone nearly as dangerous in the subs department as Ortega. Not even close. Really the only guy he's ever fought with decent subs is Oliveria, who is a very hot and cold fighter. Aldo does have subs but doesn't go to them for whatever reason.
Holloway also has a gangly giraffe neck. Ortega WILL target it. I'm pretty sure he pulls out another jump choke the way he did against swanson after wobbling Holloway with something short and powerful. Not sure what round it comes, but within 4.

If you had to pick from the list of fighters that Ortega has beaten, the closet match to Holloway would be Renato Carniero. Similar build, similar imitations of Holloway's stance, combinations and distance management. Max obviously throws much more heat much more often as a much better pressure fighter, but they are similar in many ways.
I see two possibilities:
Either max gets into a groove where he keeps Ortega at range, totally outboxes him, and ramps up the damage from round 2 onwards for a KO/TKO late, or Oretga catches him with a short elbow, uppercut, and jumps on his neck for a sub.
Ortega has shown an uncanny ability to make things happen, so I'm going with the second option.
And yes, Max's health is a major concern. Whatever was going on with his brain was not good. They say they couldn't find anything....but if it were me that would be cold comfort. Personally the idea that Holloway could become the Gerald Mclellan of MMA is an horrific, but all-too real possibility.

U guys mention ortega being hurt in a couple fights as if its a bad thing.
I think its a good sign that he's been hurt and tested but he still wins.
Be prepared. Ortega becomes another ufc undeffeated champion. Wont be long after that the hype train will say khabib vs ortega. watch, mark my words.

Brian Ortega, SUB, R4
My God I've been waiting impatiently for this fight for sooo long, even before it was announced. Man, this fight could very well be, the most important Featherweight fight ever. And I Honestly can picture visually, how each one finishes the other. But. There's just something about Brian Ortega. I've been watching this kid since he was RFA champ. He's often losing on the cards... But he somehow gets it done EVERYTIME. And I can say that w/o feeling like a shmuck later on. He's just scrappy and I think maybe even a little scrappier than Holloway. I just see Ortega with his hand raised, and Holloway sitting in his but looking in disbelief.. Ortega just gets it done one more time, later in the fight.
Jędrzejczyk vs. Shevchenko
Valentina Shevchenko, DEC
The tech striking Gods have answered... Finally. This was ALWAYS the fight to make for Flyweight. And honestly, prolly the 2nd or 3rd best women's fight to make. I think Shevchenko is just tooo much for Joanna tho. I think she keeps the trend of her already beating Joanna, right on going....... By Decision.
Oliveira vs. Nelson
Alex Oliveira, TKO, R2
Interesting fight, maybe not the best fight to comeback from a year and a half to.. And I think Cowboy is in his fighting prime right now. I think he does a little better tune up on Gunnar than Ponzinibbio did..
Bochniak vs. Dawodu
Hakeem Dawodu, DEC
The UFC loooves them some Kyle Bochniak barnburners! This will be what, 4th straight firefight for Bochniak.. This "could be" Fight of the Night for sure
Santos vs. Manuwa
Thiago Santos, TKO, R2
I love Santõs at Light-Heavyweight. I mean, the guy was an absolute destroyer at Middleweight, That power HAS TO be even scarier up a division. I think he knocks Manuwa's block off, annnnd then, I sooo wouldn't mind seeing Thiago Santos vs. Anthony Smith 2.... At Light-Heavyweight.. Anyone else like that idea?
Gadelha vs. Ansaroff
Cláudia Gadelha, DEC
Claudia Gadelha is a beast.... She's frickin hot too. But I see this being a wipeout.
Anders vs. Theodorou
Eryk Anders, TKO, R1
Can't believe Theodorou hasn't been finished yet.... There's a good chance that streak ends tonite.
Burns vs. Aubin-Mercier
Olivier Aubin-Mercier, DEC
I looove this fight. It's the sleeper fight of the card. The grappling and BJJ credentials of Burns is incredible and that's definitely OAM's base... I hope the grappling prowess of both doesn't cancel each other out, I just wanna see this fight take place on the ground. the whole 15 mins.
Katona vs. Lopez
Matthew Lopez, DEC
Look, I like this Brad Katona kid.. But I just think Matthew Lopez's wrestling will be tooo much for Katona.
Laprise vs. Lima
Chad Laprise, TKO, R2
Let's speak about a little something called reality here.. Let's face it, Dhiégo Lima is no Douglas Lima. He's not even half as good as his brother is. So should be easy win for Laprise.

Thiago Santos, TKO, R1
this will be interesting. Manuwa hasnt really impressed me. He has looked incredible but he seems to have trouble taking a good hit. That said volkan and rumble hit really hard!!

Eryk Anders, DEC

Shevchenko decision
Gonna be a war for sure but I cant see bullet losing to someone she's beat 3 times before.
Bullet beats her striking, wrestling and jits anywhere this fight goes bullet wins. 50-45 Shevchenko.
Holloway vs Ortega
Ortega submission rd3
T-city revoloution is coming boys and girls. The blessed era was awesome no doubt but that strange drop out of the original fight and all the wars max has been in I see ortega getting the best of max.
