Chad Laprise, TKO, R2
looks like a matchup to favor the hometown fighter and appeal to the home fans. Laprise has dealt with a reach disadvantage before. Lima's chin is suspect. Expect at some point Laprise lands and finishes

Aleksandar Rakić, TKO, R3
Odds on Rakic are a bit high. However, I think he does win. Most likely by tko later in the fight. Clark will not be able to use his wrestling to keep it on the ground and Rakic will sooner or later make him pay.

Gilbert Burns, TKO, R2
If Burns can make weight without issue he is a very live dog. OAM will not be able to use his submission game vs Burns and poses a big problem and Burns has better striking. This is a good matchup but look for Burns to prevail.

Eryk Anders, DEC
Anders will have to start fast and that shouldn't be a problem vs Theodorou who stats slow. Anders should be able to come forward and press Elias up against the cage and dictate range. Elias will be on his horse the entire fight. Judging will be key to this one. Hopefully the judges call it correct.

Max Holloway, TKO, R4
could definitely go the distance, but i'll pick a little spicy here. what my pick comes down to is ortega consistently having to come from behind in his fights, always seems like he's losing until he catches something, and i'm just not sure max is gonna make the mistake.
Jędrzejczyk vs. Shevchenko
Valentina Shevchenko, DEC
this fight never interested me, i'd rather see nicco. both standup fighters so it's hard to pick against a couple direct thai wins. not much killer instinct from these girls anymore though so probably goes to the cards.
Oliveira vs. Nelson
Alex Oliveira, TKO, R2
i feel bad that gunnar is coming off a tainted loss and has to fight another guy that may very well end up fouling him during a fight ending sequence. if cowboy goofs up, he'll get strangled, but i think it's his fight to lose.
Bochniak vs. Dawodu
Hakeem Dawodu, TKO, R2
kyle has fought overall better competition, but they wanna push hakeem and i think bochniak is gonna oblige him in a standup war because he's been durable so far.
Santos vs. Manuwa
Thiago Santos, TKO, R1
sink or swin for jimi, his ranking might be about to get recalibrated if he can't hide his chin and i'm not sure he has the confidence to land the big shot.
Gadelha vs. Ansaroff
Cláudia Gadelha, DEC
going to a split with carla isn't a great look, but i don't think claudia is done yet now that joanna is out of the picture. nina has been steadily improving and showing why she was being hyped up when first signing, but this is a big step up.
Eye vs. Chookagian
Jessica Eye, DEC
almost guaranteed decision and probably a split one at that, no telling how that goes with either of these girls. i guess i'll pick jessica eye and hope to be wrong, hedging like that always makes the pick easier.
Anders vs. Theodorou
Eryk Anders, DEC
elias could strike and bike around efficiently, but i think the judges are gonna be more sold on anders pushing forward and really going for it. i kinda feel like he should've taken more time after the santos fight, but at least elias isn't likely to give him much head trauma.
Burns vs. Aubin-Mercier
Gilbert Burns, SUB, R2
burns has fallen short only to some top notch guys and finished everyone else. also has the ground game to neutralize mercier. i think he lands something big and ends up finding the rnc.
Rakić vs. Clark
Aleksandar Rakić, TKO, R1
i was really high on ledet his first few appearances so rakic kickin him around seemed impressive at the time, but ledet also just seemed a little off in that fight, like he wasn't taking it seriously. clark can wrestle, but his overall game is still blooming so i understand why this is a pretty big odds gap.
Katona vs. Lopez
Brad Katona, SUB, R2
lopez gonna start strong and fade early once brad gets a hold on him, one of the better prospects to come off tuf in a while i think, might find a finish here too if he can really break lopez down and flatten him out.
Laprise vs. Lima
Chad Laprise, TKO, R2
lima gets rendered offense-less when his opponents try to wrestle and chad has the luxury of being able to put his lights out standing too so i can't see this going well for dhiego unless he is the one to initiate exchanges.
Ferreira vs. Nelson
Diego Ferreira, DEC
clearly this guy comes out and swings heavy, but his opponents have been regional rookies so i'd feel irresponsible picking nelson.

Joanna Jędrzejczyk, DEC
Bold prediction, but I believe Jedrzejczyk can maintain distance between herself and Shevchenko and pour volume on the the risk-averse counter puncher. A lot of people note three Shevchenko wins over Jedrzejczyk, but the highlights that showed Shevchenko winning the exchanges were the result of her ability to outclinch Jedrzejczyk. Look at the latter now in regards to successfully defending and punishing takedown attempts.
Oliveira vs. Nelson
Gunnar Nelson, SUB, R1
Gunnar isn't going to be anyone's confident pick, but given Alex's throwing strikes with reckless abandon, it's not too difficult to envision Nelson finding many opportunities for take-downs and submitting him.
Bochniak vs. Dawodu
Hakeem Dawodu, DEC
Kyle is way too hittable.

Valentina Shevchenko, SUB, R4
Great fight. It is bullet's time. I got her by 4th round sub. I can see it later in the fight finding its way to the canvas and Valentina gets a RNC for the tapout.

Matthew Lopez, DEC
I am leaning Lopez as his competition has been much tougher and he has fared pretty well. Katona is getting a bid step up. I will take the Lopez by decision with about a 20% chance he finishes it early

Max Holloway, TKO, R4
Ortega has been on an absolute tear. His finish rate is impeccable, he's mammoth of a featherweight, and his striking is improving by leaps and bounds. With that said, he's been handily outstruck by his opponents (except vs Frankie). Max may be slurring his speech and looking punch drunk, but make no mistake about it. The volume and pressure of Max will be too much for Ortega and I see a late stoppage or a decision win for Max.

Valentina Shevchenko, DEC
This fight is much MUCH closer than the odds indicate. Granted, Val has three wins over JJ in MuayThai but that was so long ago (pre-ATT JJ). JJ could easily outvolume Val here. However I am leaning with Val because she's MUCH bigger, more well rounded, and she's trained with Rose who already beat that ass twice. I predict a 49-46 and 48-47 (2x) decision win for bullet.
Oliveira vs. Nelson
Alex Oliveira, TKO, R1
I think my boy Howboy knocks Gunnar's head into Canadian airspace. However, if he ends up in the same situation as he did vs Condit in round 1, he's getting subbed.
