As long as the fights are entertaining I'm happy, even if Jones wins.

Just finished watching the weigh ins, and check this out, Nate Diaz walks out as Yancy's "clothes-bearer" and him and Dana don't exchange a word. Not handshake, their eyes don't meet, nothing, nada, Gurnisht (<- that's some Yiddish for you mofos).

Also, Fireball Kid walking out in swim hat and goggles (on the hat, not face), Beefcake walks out with bright blue speedos and both Fili and Holloway looked hydrated, relaxed and in good spirits, meaning my FOTN prediction just got validated. SO pumped for that fight.

I'm really rooting for Gomi to spank IVF, but he's had a pretty long layoff.

Same here, my brain's telling me Ike is tough and Gomi is rusty but Gomi's on the shortlist of fighters I never pick against.

Btw, I think I might need to shorten that shortlist though because I'm starting to miss a lot of picks on account of my favs getting older :)

He wrestled at ASU with Cain, Bader, and Dolloway, He has heavy hands, but I've seen Beal fight a few times. I'm going with familiarity, but wouldn't be shocked if he won.

@joking_joe, I watched a few of his fights on youtube before picking, he's actually quite ok and as @sreimuth said has a solid wrestling base (which might come and bite me in the ass), though he tends to prefer to stand up while he can and is pretty "lungy" and sloppy with his striking, he likes to throw weird ass kicks right off the bell and with his muscle mass that might cause him to gas quick since he also throws everything with full power and not exactly JDS hand/leg speed (on the other hand he might also have freaky ASU wrestling cardio and then I'm ****** :) ).

I'm also going with the one I know over the one who I only watched a few fights on youtube without any real knowledge as to how good his opponents were (other than their records, which can sometimes mean jack ****). Beal has much faster hands and one punch KO power, so I'm gambling on him for this one.

Screw it, I don't care that I'm probably giving away a pick (and probably have way too many finishes), I just changed my main event pick.

imo 6/10 of these fights have accurate picking %s. Beal shouldn't be that big of a favorite. I think it's due to familiarity. Brenneman & Flagg wouldn't surprise me too much. The one that confounds me is how Holloway/Fili is 50/50. I think Holloway should be the clear favorite over Fili whose sole UFC appearance was a win over Jeremy Larsen while Holloway lost to Poirier & McGregor and basically drew with Bermudez.

If Glover can't do it by the 3rd... he declines drastically for a Jones T/KO or decision.
