Dan Hendersons camp not happy Ronda is main event

At UFC 157, Ronda Rousey's first defense of the women's bantamweight belt against Liz Carmouche is the main event. It's the only title fight on the card, and title fights getting main event status is a rule the UFC doesn't often break.

That didn't sit well with Dan Henderson's camp. He is fighting Lyoto Machida on the same card, and doesn't like being the second biggest name on the card. Gus Pugliese, Henderson's striking coach, told this to Gracie Magazine:

“Where I come from, there’s a pecking order for anything in life,” he said. “I believe in paying dues. In this particular case, ‘Hendo’ and Machida paid their dues a long time ago. For someone new to come in and have a free ride just seems unfair to them and the whole sport they helped build.”

i think it makes a difference for hendo's chances of scoring that next title shot.
if you headline and you get all the promo before the fight, 
it makes a future title fight more marketable.

so he kinda got screwed again.

liz and ronda should be on a non pay per view

plain and simple

dana wants it on pay per view so that he can put legends and fighters people want to see on the card so it will appear people bought it for ronda.

just watch

the pay per view will be huge and dana during the post fight conf will say " look look at the numbers, people really wanna see ronda. its the ronda show." 

hendersons best days are past him. the paradigm has shifted. get used to it.

If Dan wants to complain then he should fight for the belt and then its a moot point since he outweighs Rousey. If he doesn't understand that title fights are main events then he should go to another card. I love Dan's resume/legacy, I have been a fan ever since I saw him lose an exhibition match to Frank Shamrock over 10 years ago, but this is silly, unprofessional, and divaesque.

The dude with the Joe Lauzon av is right a title fight is a title fight either way you look at it. I don't remember one time on ANY card where there was a title fight in the Co. Main Event then a non-title Main Event fight oh wait that's right the Fedor vs Hendo card but that's all I know of. :D

I just want to point out that the article said dans camp. whether or not dan feels the same,we do not know
