Pride 12 Wiki
In the organization’s final effort of the grand 2000 season, Pride 12 featured some of the most memorable match-ups in the promotion’s history. Future champion Wanderlei Silva earned his biggest win yet by battering Dan Henderson to a Unanimous Decision verdict. On the same card, American wrestler and all-around juggernaut Mark Kerr finally met his match—again—as he came out on the losing end of a Unanimous Decision against Igor Vovchanchyn.
The fight between Kerr and Vovchanchyn was a highly anticipated rematch, as Vovchanchyn had finished Kerr in their first meeting before the bout was declared a No Contest following several illegal knees thrown by Vovchanchyn. Kazushi Sakuraba claimed his fourth Gracie with a win over Ryan in the main event.
