My MMA Rankings
Top Welterweight MMA Fighters
-
1
- Kamaru Usman
- "Nigerian Nightmare"
- 20-4-0
-
The. Champ. The greatest UFC fighter of all time. GSP's opponent were a bunch of neanderthals with one sided skill sets, either wrestler or brawler. Kamaru would never lose to Matt Serra.
-
2
- Gilbert Burns
- "Durinho"
- 22-7-0
-
Yes Colby gave the champ 5 rounds, Durinho only gave 3 BUT Durinho is the only opponent to really hurt the Champ. Round 1 was a masterclass, he dominated Kamaru.
-
3
- Vicente Luque
- "The Silent Assassin"
- 22-10-1
-
7/2/21- Maaaannn. I can't say enough about my guy Luque. The 3rd most violent guy in the sport P4P behind Ngannou and JP. Consistent pressure, volume, and toughness that will break 95% of welterweights over 3 or 5 rounds. Not only will he KO you, he will subbed you too. ONLY 29 YEARS.
UPDATE 8/8/21 JUST REMEMBER I HAD HIM UP HERE BEFORE THE CASUALS. ONE OF THE BEST IN THE SPORT. Just like Do Bronxs went thru his stage of losing and is now finishing every one. Luque is now at that stage of his career. It is hard to beat him because he won't quit.

4
- Colby Covington
- "Chaos"
- 17-4-0
-
Heavy volume, toughness and top wrestler not to mention one of the most entertaining fighters outside of the ring on the entire roster. He and Gilbert are 2A and 2B.
-
5
- Leon Edwards
- "Rocky"
- 22-3-0, 1 NC
-
I actually dislike Leon immensely. He is very tactical but I am unsure if it's because he believes his talent is that much above the competition or if he is scared of his glass chin getting touch. 4th is likely the highest he will ever get in my opinion, he will lose every big title contender fight off of lack of volume.
-
6
- Sean Brady
- 16-1-0
-
This kid is on all this older guys ass. Top grappler and his hands are catching up. PHILLY STAND UP
-
7
- Stephen Thompson
- "Wonderboy"
- 17-7-1
-
Another highly technical guy, only thing holding him back at this point is his age and his chin. This ranking is a reflection of what I think will happen UFC 264, BOOOOHHAAAA KO.
-
8
- Jorge Masvidal
- "Gamebred"
- 35-17-0
-
Don't be fooled by him losing to the Champ. He will still out strike and KO a lot of these guys in the weight class. Hopefully he's not washed up or lose confident from what Kamaru did to him
-
9
- Michael Chiesa
- "Maverick"
- 16-7-0
-
Grapple and submit or lose. Sean Brady is on his ass
-
10
- Nate Diaz
- 21-13-0
-
Still Nate. Can you kill him or not? If not better hope you survive til that bell sounds
-
11
- Neil Magny
- "Haitian Sensation" | 29-11-0
-
Tactical behind the jab, pressure and Cardio are his top assets. Chin can have him lose on any night. He's out of team elevation like Kamaru at 34 years old so in my opinion he has accepted his role as top 5 gatekeeper.
-
12
- Yaroslav Amosov
- "Dynamo" | 27-1-0
-
Smart fighter, takes minimal risk, hard to outpoint in a decision, even harder to finish
-
13
- Niko Price
- "The Hybrid" | 15-7-0, 2 NC
-
Man Niko is really a top welterweight with an unintelligent bottom level fighter's IQ. Tough as nails, a ton of different strikes, competent ground game. Just doesn't seem to understand that he's supposed to avoid some of his opponents strikes too. Getting hit seems fun to him smh
-
14
- Geoff Neal
- "Handz of Steel" | 15-6-0
-
Extremely overrated to me. He was a -350 very Wonderboy...... all he has is 1 punch power. No foot work, no jabs, no set ups. Welcome the new Tyron Woodley. He still has room to improve though.
-
15
- Belal Muhammad
- "Remember the Name" | 23-3-0, 1 NC
-
Another Leon Edwards. They are a match made in put me the **** to sleep heaven. I wanna be respectful to all men who put their name and health on the line and fight they are brave but Belal is less of a fighter and more of a "Scared-er'. Yes I had to create a new word for this guy.
-
16
- Michael Page
- "Venom" | 22-2-0
-
Now that Douglas Lima lost the title, come to the UFC and fight better competition so we can see we you really rank
-
17
- Douglas Lima
- "The Phenom" | 33-11-0
-
I guess he's good fundamentally... I think he's respected just because you're better than his bum ass brother
-
18
- Jingliang Li
- "The Leech" | 19-8-0
-
Super sharp boxing that put Ponzinibbio to sleep. Wonder how he holds up against the top KICKboxers because Ponzi uses very little kids
-
19
- Santiago Ponzinibbio
- "Argentine Dagger" | 29-7-0
-
I was ready to count him out but he beat Baeza off of volume and cardio proving he still has some life left
-
20
- Tim Means
- "The Dirty Bird" | 33-15-1, 1 NC
-
Dirty Bird put on a great performance his last fight and showed he still will give a lot of these guys work. Heavy volume and cardio
-
21
- Randy Brown
- "Rudeboy" | 18-5-0
-
Rudeboy has to work on his consistency. He will need better volume and cardio to push past top guys. Luque showed him where he ceiling is right now until he makes those improvements
-
22
- Shavkat Rakhmonov
- "Nomad" | 18-0-0
-
This is kid is all business. I think he can beat a lot of these guys but just needs to do.
-
23
- Anthony Rocco Martin
- 18-6-0
-
Nice grappler, cardio held up with Magny, I don't think he sells enough or has the requisite skills to make it to the top 10 unfortunately.
-
24
- Michel Pereira
- "Demolidor" | 30-11-0, 2 NC
-
Super exciting with one of the widest range of strikes on the roster but super inconsistent.
-
25
- Tyron Woodley
- "The Chosen One" | 19-7-1
-
I really don't believe this guy can beat anyone anymore if the fight gets outside of the 1st round. He finally threw his hands against Luque but only did it because gassing out in the first and losing is way better than having Luque in your face for 10 more mins. RETIRE.
-
26
- Jeremiah Wells
- 12-4-1
-
PHILLY STAND UP. Yea I'm gonna over rank him until proven otherwise.
-
27
- Jason Jackson
- "The Ass-Kicking Machine" | 18-4-0
-
Just a grappler.
-
28
- Daniel Rodriguez
- "D-Rod" | 17-4-0
-
Has to develop more than just hands. Poor takedown defense and ground game will be expose really soon
-
29
- Nicolas Dalby
- "Danish Dynamite" | 23-4-1, 2 NC
-
Showed a lot in the dirty bird fight. Good cardio pressure and grappling
-
30
- Demian Maia
- 28-11-0
-
Retire please. PLEASE
