Regardless what you think of O’Malley, Munhoz is his second litmus test. IMO he failed his first one quite miserably. Should be a fun fight and Munhoz will push the best out O’Malley. Let’s see how good it is. Munhoz only fights killers.

I really don't see that happening, but of course that's just my opinion. Pulling off a guillotine against a tall guy like O'Malley would be hard to do. Besides, O'Malley is good at range management, sticks and moves, has a lot of reach and an underrated ground game. He just hasn't been able to show that part of his game yet. That being said, he doesn't want to go to the ground with Munhoz. Since Munhoz will definitely be the better grappler. Regardless, I honestly don't think we will see any grappling in this fight. I think Munhoz' gameplan is to make good use of his calfkicks to slow O'Malley down and move forward to close the distance from time to time. If that's the case, I think O'Malley will pick Munhoz apart. Munhoz is known to get hit a lot in his fights. Especially against fighters with a good jab. Which is something that Sean has. O'Malley also moves a lot and I think that will be problematic for Munhoz. My guess is that Munhoz will be the one pressing forward and tries to chase O'Malley down while in return O'Malley will throw his jabs, kicks and combinations.

This is by far Sean's biggest test, but I think he will pull it off and get the win by decision.

If munhoz had like 2 more inches of reach he could win but he’s just too tiny

I agree. Munhoz is a dog and has really good striking and ground game. The problem of Munhoz is that he gets hit way too much. I'm going off of what I know right now. I will rewatch some Munhoz and O'Malley fights in a few minutes. So I may change my opinion on how this fight will play out, but I do know that I won't change my pick.

It would surprise me if Munhoz had anything for O'Malley on the feet, he's just much slower and plods forwards. His shot to win is on the ground, but he's got hardly any wrestling.

I dont think Dricus is that special but he can for sure beat Brad Tavares who..like I said...is a gate keeper.

What's special about Brad Tavares?????

I think you're right on saying KO or bust but Dricus is accurate enough to where that's not really a long shot. Not that it matters at all but I took Tavares. Not that confident on it.

Just havent seen enough of Dricus in the UFC to say he's 100 percent going to crush...he's had some quick Ko's over some underwhelming guys.

I have seen Tavares enough to know that he's got good cardio but is just a grind to decision type of guy. You ask whats special about Dricus at least he has the element of unknown to him...maybe he's added a lot to his game.

I know 100% what Tavares is going to do...point fight and leave it to the judges like he does every fight.

I'll have to see if theres some tape on that Soldic KO @MMAfan I'd like to watch that one.

I expect a lot of adaptation from both but a lot more from Volkanovski, and that is that he doesn’t do a pull back because Holloway throws a great shoulder and easily punishes in those situations, and he showed that against Yair. I expect him to change his style in the first round, which is to start with volume right away, without setting shots for later rounds to surprise Holloway who does more of that upper body movement, where I think his body and legs will be quite open . Volkanovski 1 Inside Lowkick, 1.2 Inside Lowkick, 2 Feint Inside Lowkick, 1.4 Roll Under 4. I expect him to throw more Thai lowkicks and combine wrestling, which will come after a good feint, where he will draw his straight punches and enter below hit by single and chain on bodylock or double leg. Volkanovski will be more pressed for the first 3 rounds this time so that he would not have to chase the last 3 rounds.

Alexander Volkanovski 50 45 / 49 46 / 49 46 UD

Israel Adesanya is a very disciplined fighter and he will not be embarrassed in this match, he should force the direct and do that triangle step from which he will build a corner for low kicks as he does. With his feints, he will pull Cannonier's shots and punish him from the counter. Cannonier telephones punches, Adesanya is much faster and will not embark on changes where he is the initiator. I think it will be a pure stand up fight where Adesanya will dominate him.

Israel Adesanya 50 45 x3 UD
