So Munhoz has beaten taller fighters by guillotine before.  Here is his fight with Billy Daniels.  Billy stands around 5'10 whereas O'Malley is 5'11.  He can snatch his neck during a scramble and then once they are on the floor, height wouldn't matter from that point forward.  O'Malley has a long skinny neck so it would be easier to snatch it.  Neil Magny is another fighter who has long skinny limbs that are ripe for submissions as we saw last Saturday.

Comparing who Munhoz has fought and O'Malley is actually really hilarious

Munhoz is just toughter, never been knocked out in training, never been knocked out in his MMA career. O'Malleys best shot is to win by decision but he has absolutely no ground game at all.

I just finished rewatching some past fights of Du Plessis and I have to agree with JReynolds. His striking defence and movement is really not that great. Offensively he's not really that great either. He's very awkward with his striking, often throws wild punches and loves to use his lowkicks to keep his opponent at range. I do have to admit that he has solid timing on his counterstrikes and clearly has KO power. From the look of it, he seems to have an ok groundgame as well, but it has not really been tested in the UFC.

Du Plessis had two KO's in the UFC, but those stem from two really dumb mistakes by his opponents. From the look of it, Peres wanted to do a spinning elbow and got clipped against the fence. Giles pressured Du Plessis against the fence, landed two hard punches and for no reason stepped backwards with his guard down. Which cost him as he got clipped right on the chin.

I also just rewatched Tavarez' past fights. Tavarez is well-rounded, likes to plod forward and scores points by picking his shots. He's not really the kind of fighter that has a killer instinct and looks for finishes. I think his fight vs Marquardt will be very similar to this one. If it does play out like that, Tavares will win this fight. Du Plessis already likes to move backwards and use his lowkicks and counterstrikes, where Tavares usually presses forward. I think we could either see a very boring fight, or a KO by Du Plessis.

I have no idea why you used this as an example. The reason why this guy got caught in a guillotine is because he tried to take Munhoz down and exposed his neck. That's definitely not something O'Malley will do. O'Malley likes to keep the fight standing and fights very rangy. He's not the type of fighter that will shoot for a takedown.

Some people on here have the worst takes I've ever seen in my life. They operate like this is their entire life. They care so much about fighters and people who don't even know u exist. I like to watch and see their whole demeanor change when they're dead wrong or someone disagrees. All good to throw your opinions and predictions out there. That's why we are here. I can do without all the other ******** about how you're right and everyone else is wrong though. But it is entertaining to laugh at u though.

Saying that O'Malley has no ground game is kind of silly. He may not have elite grappling, but he holds his own. You should watch the Quintet Ultra event, where he grappled Gomi, Gilbert Melendez and Lombard. He subbed Gomi, competitively grappled with Melendez (which is impressive) and lost to Lombard. Which is not a shame, especially since he was super green when he competed against these guys.

Mma lab guys have very well rounded skillsets. I think Sean is a brown belt so he can definitely hold his own on the ground. Pedro has the bjj advantage tho

Gomi is no submission expert and was lost on the ground against all his opponents when he joined the UFC. Gilbert would have been burned out and was never really a submission artist. Losing to Lombard, well that's just sad.
