Barberena got boo’d after his fight with Matt Brown. It was in Brown’s home state but still that shows he gets no love! Barberena puts on great fights but the majority do not take notice.

And everybody believes in Stricklands demeanor and can't get past the fact he's gonna come in here and attempt takedowns wether successful or not, Strickland isn't a idiot.

Dude isn't going to stand with Pereira, no way. + who has Strickland been training with all camp? New Bellator Welterweight Champion Johnny Eblen.

I'm not about to forget how Andrea Michailidis held Pereira down for a full 5 mins until he tired himself out.

Green isn't that good TBH. Gets hit a lot, doesn't really have any counters, never really moves off the centre line. I'll pick Garry in that one though I do think he's massively overrated also.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 365 Points   |   Tied for 3803rd

Adesanya vs. Cannonier
Israel Adesanya, DEC
We know that Cannonier don't wrestle. So it's gonna be all striking where Adesanya should have huge advantage.

Volkanovski vs. Holloway III
Max Holloway, DEC
Weird. Max is taller but got shorter reach. That might be one of the problems of Max against Volk. In last fights Volk beat washed up Zombie and barely survived Ortega submissions. Holloway had war against Yair and master class against Kattar. Their tools, body types and style favor Volk. I pick Holloway just because I will be rooting for him.

Strickland vs. Pereira
Sean Strickland, DEC
Strickland just because he's more well-rounded. Depends on Strickland's gameplan.

Munhoz vs. O'Malley
Sean O'Malley, TKO, R2
Munoz will apply pressure but it won't work.

Riddell vs. Turner
Jalin Turner, TKO, R1
Turner has huge reach and height advantage. Plus he taken less damage in his career.

Lawler vs. Barberena
Bryan Barberena, DEC
I think Lawler is too old and too slow for Barberena.

Garry vs. Green
Ian Garry, DEC
I guess hype is real.

Cerrone vs. Miller II
Donald Cerrone, DEC
I know Miller is on winning streak but cowboy still has a chance.

Hall vs. Muniz
André Muniz, SUB, R1
Muniz by sub, no other options.

Eye vs. Barber
Maycee Barber, DEC
Barber should be favorite but not huge favorite. Anyways I think Barber wins this one.

Tavares vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R2
Ofc Tavares is more experienced and he's tough but Du Plessis is legit. He got longer reach and he knows how to use it.

Clark vs. Stoliarenko
Jessica-Rose Clark, DEC
I think Clark is more well rounded

I'll say one thing, turner has definitely not taken less damage in his career, he's been stopped by strikes quite a few times.

Hall vs. Muniz
Uriah Hall, TKO, R1
I have to go with my man Uriah Hall. I think he gets one on Andre and even though it's been awhile all four of Andre's losses have been by KO. Andre is amazing on the ground and yes I think he definitely has a chance to tap Uriah out quick but I'm going with the vet. I dont think Andre has faced anyone close to having hands like Uriah.

Cerrone vs. Miller II
Donald Cerrone, SUB, R3
This is a tough one. Cerrone is probably going into this fight thinking this is the end, probably even win or lose. I do think the weight gain is gonna have a bad effect on Miller. Has he ever fought at 170? If he has I know he hasn't in awhile. I think Donald goes out (retiring or not) with a bang and they brawl the first two rounds and Cerrone catches Miller off guard sometime in Round 3 and submits Jim.

Garry vs. Green
Ian Garry, TKO, R2
I can't bet against Ian yet. He seems to be on a roll and although I've been quite impressed with Gabes last couple fights and definitely think he's a future Top 15 guy I think Ian keeps his rise going. We haven't seen too much of Ian on the ground yet though and I know Gabe is at least decent both on the ground and in stand up so who knows 🤷‍♂️

So, I've been digging into the JRC/Stoliarenko fight. Stoliarenko vs Alexis Davis looked like a much bigger AD taking down and holding down Stoliarenko. Stoliarenko caught her in a number of arm bars and peppered her on the feet. Davis, being a black belt, was able to get out of every arm bar attempt. JRC's last loss was by arm bar, and she is smaller than Davis. I can see JRC taking down Stoliarenko and JRC falling to a first round arm bar. If it is left standing, I see Stoliarenko dominating the standup. I picked JRC but am having second thoughts after rewatching a few fights... What are you all's thoughts?
