Fiziev vs. Green
Rafael Fiziev, DEC
Very fun fight, as Bobby Green is always game and seems to be in very good shape recently, but Fiziev had very impressive wins over Moicano and Diakiase recently, and I thought it was enough to get him a ranked opponent... I guess he needs to wins this difficult fight before getting tested by the elite of the division...

If this fight order is locked, they're doing Bobby Green dirty. He's gonna get knocked cold on the prelims of the prelims?

Lewis vs. Gane
Ciryl Gane, DEC
Derrick definitely has a chance here, but Ciryl has shown to have the composure as a striker to keep the big punchers at bay and point fight to an easy decision…Thinking if he sticks to the game plan and doesn’t try to make himself look better to the fans,he’ll win clearly 50/45 or 49/46

Nunes vs. Peña
Amanda Nunes, TKO, R2
Amanda SMESH

Aldo vs. Munhoz
Pedro Munhoz, DEC
Calf kicks galore for Munhoz, think he can possibly get a finish but I think Aldo will survive…30/27 UD Munhoz

Song vs. Kenney
Yadong Song, DEC
Casey Kenney slows down against pressure fighters…Think it’ll be close for 1 1/2 rounds and then Song will push the pace and win the last half of the fight decisively

Luque vs. Chiesa
Vicente Luque, TKO, R3
For the love of god lets all pray Chiesa doesn’t win this…Think it’ll either be an absolute smashing for Luque or a boring lay and pray battle for three rounds…hoping for the former

Torres vs. Hill II
Angela Hill, DEC
Don’t know why,but I’ve always had a great disliking for Tecia…But besides that,I think Angela is a tad better everywhere so I think she’ll win a clear decision 29/28

Herman vs. Menifield
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R2
Ed has proved me wrong before, but he’s close to 41 years of age and with the beating he took in the last one combined with the time off I think Alonzo will catch him at some point in this one

Kape vs. Osbourne
Manel Kape, DEC
Been disappointed with Mabel lately, but I know he has the ability to compete with and beat the best guys (something that Ode has not shown to have) so I think he’ll be able to win a clear 30/27 UD

Fiziev vs. Green
Rafael Fiziev, TKO, R2
Think Bobby has more of a chance than people are giving him…Imo Bobby should realistically be on a 4 fight win streak and has beaten some great fighters, but I genuinely think Rafael is a future champ and I think he’ll be able to catch Green coming in at some point in the fight

not surprised the guy with a Sean O' Malley picture has terrible takes......bobby green has absolutely 0 chance... none
I don't see how Munhoz will be able to land a single leg kick if Aldo is the superior muay thai fighter....rivera was  a midgit with no experience checking kicks.
I personally think Gane vs Lewis is a 50/50 fight or Lewis has the upper hand since it's in his hometown.
besides jairzinho, lewis will be his toughest test....and jairzinho looked at gane for 5 rounds...Lewis won't let that happen in his hometown, don't be fooled by his tough matchups with grapplers that this will be  walkover for Gane.
Gane went 5 rounds with volkov......Lewis killed that man

Lewis vs. Gane
Ciryl Gane, DEC
I will never count out Derrick Lewis. But I will pick against him. Gane probably will stick and move to add a belt to his resume. Or he may do that for 2 rounds then get caught with a haymaker. I don’t know what will happen but that’s why MMA is great. We will see, 8/7/21 live on PPV…

Song vs. Kenney
Yadong Song, DEC
Fascinating clash between two great fighters. Song will win using pressure but Kenny is very fundamentally sound.

Luque vs. Chiesa
Michael Chiesa, DEC

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 13 Winners, 1 Perfect, 495 Points   |   Tied for 2104th

Lewis vs. Gane
Ciryl Gane, TKO, R4
Very tough fight to pick. Lewis can win this one with one single shot and Gane can do the stick and move that he always do. I would like to see Lewis KO Gane, but I'm gonna go with Gane in this one. I think Gane will work on that distance control and utilize a lot of kicks to the body to hurt Derrick. My prediction is that Gane it's gonna close the show with a kick to the body followed by punches in the 4th round.

Nunes vs. Peña
Amanda Nunes, SUB, R1
This is almost more than a mismatch. Nunes is worlds beyond above Peña. Juliana only chance to win this is throwing a hail mary that give her the win, otherwise Amanda gonna make a quick work of her. Amanda is better than Julianna in every aspect: striking, grappling and has powerful hands. I predict that Amanda will rock Julianna in the first round, and then Peña desperated gonna shoot for a takedown and Amanda will take her back and throw heavy shots from there, finishing the fight with a rear naked choke in the 1st round.

Aldo vs. Munhoz
Pedro Munhoz, DEC
Definetely the most balanced fight on the card, it's a 50/50 in my opinion. If Aldo uses his whole arsenal coming into this fight, he has a good chance of winning that one. But Munhoz is a savage aswell, and has almost the same skills on the striking as Aldo, plus his dangerous ground game. I don't know who's gonna win that one, but I'm gonna go with Munhoz on a split decision.

Luque vs. Chiesa
Vicente Luque, SUB, R1
I hope Luque win this one. Chiesa is a good fighter, but he was boring in his last two appearence and very one dimensional. Luque has all the tools to beat Chiesa: he's a much better striker and probably a better grappler. In my opinion Luque rocks Chiesa and submits him with a d'Arce in the 1st round.

Song vs. Kenney
Casey Kenney, DEC
Lets be honest, Song is very overrated and in my opinion he has lost his last 3 fights, specially that Chito fight, that was stright robbery. Casey is one of the best prospects in that weigh division and put on a very tough fight against Cruz. I think if Casey put on a much harder work coming into his next fights, he can be something big in that division (not a champion, but a good contender). So, I think Kenney punishes Song with body kicks and square a decision win.

Torres vs. Hill II
Angela Hill, DEC
Don't know why Torres is favorite to this fight, since she just take unknows in her last two fights and got beat up by all the top fighters in that weigh division. Hill by the other hand, should have come from 8 straight wins if the judges doesn't screw her up in the Xiaonan, Gadelha and Waterson fight. Hill has taken the most toughest oponnents, and in my opinion she gets the decision win.

Fiziev vs. Green
Rafael Fiziev, TKO, R1
Fiziev is one of the best savages in the lightweight division and one of my favorites. Green is past his prime for a long time and beat a "no defense" Vannata, a washed Clay Guida and got beat pretty easy by Moises. If Poirier in 2016 beat Green pretty easy, so I think Fiziev destroys him too. Fiziev, 1st Round KO.

Herman vs. Menifield
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R2
Same thing as the Fiziev vs Green one. Herman was never one of the best in this weigh division and he's an old average fighter, and Menifield is definetely not one of the best, but it's a much younger guy that can finish tha fight whatever it goes. Menifield, 2nd Round KO.

Kowalkiewicz vs. Penne
Karolina Kowalkiewicz, DEC
Penne got a sweat split victory against Godinez and Karolina doesn't fight since 2020, losing her last four fights. Even having the best timing for this fight, I don't think Penne can top Karolina. Karolina it's much more technical than Penne, and I think she will refind herself inside the octagon and get that win. Karolina by Decision.

@FistyMcKickerChoke Ciryl is a lock, sorry you probably got bamboozled by the wrestler who talks too much with no chin named Curtis Blaydes. Rewatch that fight, Blaydes almost got KO'd in the 1st 60 secs then proceeded to outbox Lewis at range with his jab. Finally as he dumb ass made public in presser all week decided to shoot for a take down for no reason and fell right into Lewis's lazy gameplay/trap. Ciryl will out style Lewis for 25 minutes or more than likely FINISH him with a body shot.

@Stians10 dont be fooled into picking the decision, you're late to the party on that one
