It was him, the knee technically hurt him and the ref thought it was a low blow, but it was a legit fight ending knee. He pretended it to was low, even when the replay showed that it was not. Replays can't be used to stop a fight. Third round never should have started.

Funny story reminds me of the usman covington fight fake low blow wins him that fight.
Not sure how people forget events and how the ref has so much power in these times.
Or the numerous times Josh Koscheck pulled that for down knees.

I'm so confedent in Gane, Lewis is not winning this and I give him more of a chance agaist Francis because atlest Francis will be swining for the head. All Gane really do is leg and body kick and I think that will slow down Lewis for a late stoppage or a decsion victory because Gane always go to decsion

Lewis is always dangerous with is one punch KO but technically, he is far from Gane. Should be 50-45 Gane

Gane is clearly technically better than Lewis in almost every aspect, but the dude leaves himself wide open sometimes. He relies heavily on movement - especially early on in fights - because he has some of the better footwork at HW. But the way he holds his hands is kind of nightmare fuel for anyone fighting Derrick Lewis.

The chance at a Lewis KO is there, if not a little bit unlikely.

I thought Volkov was the worst possible match-up for Lewis in the division before Lewis wound up beheading him. I'll never doubt that man again.

Lewis hasn't lost a decision in YEARS, I can't see this fight going to a decision. It's either a KO from Lewis or Gane submission. Thing is, Gane is okay letting it go to the judges cause he knows he'll win if it gets to that point.

I want gane to win but last time lewis was in Houston. Ilir latifi won every round of there Fight and they still gave lewis the decision. If Gane wants to win this he better finish it.

I can see Gane parlaying Lewis' free-swinging into a sub. That's what I like about the guy - great technical striker with subs.

But then...maybe Lewis gets a chance to show off his blue belt. Hey, it's happened before. (Not with Lewis, but with someone.)

Glad to see fiziev back fighting instead of being a cornerman. Right outside of the top 15 and this is the win he needs to put himself in a position to fight someone like the loser of Moises v Makhachev
