True because apart from chiesa luque, this was a poor ppv card before this new announcement

But this is still a poor card and won’t get many PPV Buys. So I don’t get the point. Just putting a belt don’t make a fight better, espaccaly when the champ fight 2 month  ago. And spoiler alert, this is going to be an exact repeat of the Rosenstuck vs Gane fight

Lewis vs. Gane
Ciryl Gane, TKO, R4
I want to say Gane by decision but this is just a weird fight. 2 guys with 2 VERY different fight styles. I think Gane will be the interim champ when it’s all said and done but it only takes one punch from Derrick Lewis to end it as well. But I’m sticking with Gane. I can see this fight being similar to the Volkov fight. Lots of stand up action

I have watched the majority of Gane's fights and he is just not that exciting. I am pulling for the Black Beast.

its shocking to me that theres a large subsection of fans who enjoy watching derrick lewis standing there looking for 1 single KO punch otherwise doing nothing but stand there

at least he said his balls were hot casuals loved to repeat that joke over and over maybe he'll say his balls were hot again that would be more entertaining than most of his fights

anyone remember that gabe gonzaga fight from like 2003 where he stood there doing nothing for approximately 14.5 minutes and then in the last few seconds throws  superman punch and starches the guy he was fighting?

Thats basically every single derrick lewis fight. Yet people love him

I don't really see the point in this fight. Anyways I think Lewis will lose all rounds until he finds the KO shot. I don't think Gane is ready to be champion yet, he has much to improve. But maybe I get proven wrong, who knows it's ******* HW

Carbon copy of the Blaydes fight imo. Gane controls the first round with striking and grappling and then Lewis bombs him.

I don't see Gane getting caught leaving himself open like Blaydes or Volkov. He's too measured. If anything, it'll be a boring fight where he stays safely on the outside, and Lewis waits for an opening that doesn't come.

Uncle Fester up to his usual antics. Being a skeezy, oversized thumb and trashing the reputation of the once-premier MMA competition. Francis wants to wait a reasonable amount of time to fight; **** him, let's make an interim title. TJ the cheating snake wants to return; full promo package. Poor TJ has to compete with stigma from being cheater. Feel bad for him. UFC is fart smell

I like Lewis. I like Gane. Regardless, there is no reason for this to be an interim title fight. Both fighters have to take the fight as a matter of practicality for their careers, but I'd bet they'd agree with me.

Ngannou isn't being stripped, they are just creating an interim champ to be his 'mandatory' next opponent.

Lewis vs. Gane
Ciryl Gane, TKO, R4
It's a shame this fight is for the interim belt, but I won't complain about the matchup : This is absolutely a great fight, fascinating clash of styles : fight IQ vs wildness, technical stand up vs power... Gane's chin will finally be tested, but if he can absorb a few shots, he has the tools to hurt Lewis on the feet OR on the ground. Gane vs Ngannou for the belt in Paris would be huge for France !

Nunes vs. Peña
Amanda Nunes, TKO, R4
They need to book the Shevshenko trilogy as soon as possible.

Aldo vs. Munhoz
Pedro Munhoz, DEC
Very hard fight to pick. Munhoz is still improving, as his great performance against Rivera proved, but Aldo isn't regressing much despite his age and all the wars he's been in... Crazy to think they're the same age, considering Aldo's accomplishments. But I feel Munhoz has the heart to hang with the legend here, and it will likely be a very close back and forth war. What a great fight.

Song vs. Kenney
Yadong Song, DEC
This is a super fun fight between two of the most exciting bantamweights !

Luque vs. Chiesa
Vicente Luque, DEC
This should be very interesting, Chiesa 's standup has improved greatly recently, but Luque is the more dangerous fighter overall, and very durable as well.

Herman vs. Menifield
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R1
Herman is getting old, but he obviously has a chance here, if he can survive the first dangerous round...

Kowalkiewicz vs. Penne
Karolina Kowalkiewicz, DEC
Wow, I'm a BIG fan of Kowalkiewicz, but she looked shot since the Andrade fight, 3 years ago... I thought she retired after her 4 losses in a row, and I don't know how I feel to see her back against the very tough Penne after more than 1 year away... Rooting for her anyway.

Kape vs. Osbourne
Manel Kape, DEC
Kape has the most impressive 0-2 reccord in the UFC... Osbourne is a dangerous fighter, and he might give him a hard fight, but I think Kape will shine here.

Kape maybe the most unlucky/****** over fighter in the ufc, should be 2-0 not 0-2 because of **** judging maybe there's reason he lost the first fight for not much engagement but he definitely won his last one

I love Kape because I love Rizin but one thing that makes me fall out of love with fighters is a complete lack of a sense of urgency, or coasting when you can't coast. If a fighter like Jon Fitch or Ciryl Gane have 4 of 5 rounds in a bag and decide to take a round off thats fine with me but when there's even a chance the judges can **** you over I really want to see you work

Ed Herman, TKO, R2
Still need my underdog and ED has way more ways to win this never been flash kod by a guy like lon who has been 1 shotted by grapplers..

Kape vs. Osbourne
Ode Osbourne, TKO, R1
Size matters also Kape drops the ball too much, hes the opposite of a clutch player.
