Dont expect the next Holm-Roussey, Dillashaw-Barrao or RDA-Pettis here because the difference is all those time you had a legit top 5 fighting the champion.
The only time I remember a guy not in the top 10 beating the champ, it was when Bisping KO Rockhold but as I know, Nunes as not a suspect chin. Maybe she can win with toe in eyes again.

Fair points, Hyrm. Odd that she's not ranked on the UFC site - she's #5 on here, #6 on Sherdog, and their graphic (above) shows her as #1 contender. I'm thinking that's some kind of web glitch.

Look at Volkov, Gaethje, Chandler... they were very low before fighting in the UFC and after one fight they are already top 10
If tomorow Megan Anderson fight any girl above her in this list I pick the other girl without a doubt

Thanks, Jake. I can't get their rankings site to load properly. I'd make some joke about being computer illiterate, but my boss probably wouldn't appreciate that from one of his analysts.
I'm not sure what rankings Hyrm is talking about - his own, I guess. Most reputable sites have Megan Anderson ranked in their top ten at least. I'd be interested to see one that doesn't.
The pick isn't really defensible logically - Nunes being the GOAT and all, and Anderson never really making a strong showing - but you don't see physical tools like Anderson's very often in women's MMA. And there's that little bit of superstitious mojo of her having the same birthday as mine. And, like I said, when am I going to get a chance to pick an underdog like this again? Worth a shot.
