Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 325 Points   |   Tied for 340th

The UFC's network television debut is finally here!  UFC on FOX is coming to you live on... Fox, obviously, at 9:00pm eastern tonight with a single fight extravaganza surrounding Junior Dos Santos vs Cain Velasquez for the heavyweight championship.

At the moment it appears the Facebook preliminary card will begin at 4:45pm eastern time (final time still unknown) for 9 prelims on Facebook.com/UFC.  Then at 9:00 eastern time you need to flip channels to Fox to see history made.

Your prediction results and leaderboard ranking will automatically show up in any posts made here. If you want to embed your full listing of picks you can do that also.   Your picks, as well as a link to embed the image, and the top of the site-wide leaderboard will all be available in the right column on this thread.

Enjoy the fights and good luck in your predictions!

REMINDER: as a courtesy to those not watching Bellator until later, please do not post spoilers in this thread.

Couple guys i think could fight Cacares: Menjivar, Valencia, maybe Damacio Page (might be a bit high on the ladder), or even someone from this season's TUF.

Brock was pretty reserved after the fight....i don't think he wants to stand in front of JDS.

If Brock beats Overeem he can either a) stand infront of JDS and get knocked out. Or b) take Dos Santos down and get subbed.

Thoughts on the card are as follows:

-First of all I tied for fourth, I think that's the best I've ever done. I'm happy about that.

-I stopped watching the card live due to prior engagements after the Escovedo fight. Needless to say I was very sad and it really made the other **** I had to do drag by extremely slowly, I hated seeing Escovedo lose a fight that by all means he should have won.

-Speaking of depressing losses, come on Kid! I hope he gets cut tbqh, I don't want to see him fight at UFC Japan because I don't want to hear anymore about how Japanese guys aren't good, etc. He was losing in Japan before he came to the UFC. I wish he looked better, but he is done. Seeing him, a world class wrestler, get taken down by a one dimensional bjj guy who was given to him specifically because they wanted Kid to get a fight in Japan, was depressing.

-Guida and Benderson really delivered a great fight. I'm going to pick Benson against Edgar, he looks so much better each time around. Guida isn't exactly the best wrestler at 155 but seeing Henderson stay on his feet when Guida had a completely locked in double leg was awesome.

-Only fight I haven't seen yet is Peralta vs Semerzier. Was it worth checking out?

-Finally JDS. Wow, what a guy. Super humble in victory, and what a victory it was. Only took him 64 seconds to become champion. That was incredible. I think he will reign for atleast 4 or 5 fights (I didn't say the same for Brock and Cain, as some people had them pegged as unbeatable.)

Overall, great card. I'm sorry that I couldn't have been on Tapology throughout.

Uyenoyama was fantastic on the ground, I should have done more research on that guy, I thought Yamamoto would walk through him.  But, then with Yamamoto's wrestling, I really never thought it would go to the ground.

Looking at the size of Yamamoto in this fight reinforces my opinion that the UFC needs a 125 lb division sooner rather than later.  Can't believe he fought at such high weights in the past, makes it even more suprising/disappointing that he's done so poorly in the UFC.

I agree. I knew Uyenoyama was a stud on the ground, but like you said, who knew he'd be able to take down Kid?
