Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 1 Perfect, 325 Points   |   Tied for 340th

The UFC's network television debut is finally here!  UFC on FOX is coming to you live on... Fox, obviously, at 9:00pm eastern tonight with a single fight extravaganza surrounding Junior Dos Santos vs Cain Velasquez for the heavyweight championship.

At the moment it appears the Facebook preliminary card will begin at 4:45pm eastern time (final time still unknown) for 9 prelims on Facebook.com/UFC.  Then at 9:00 eastern time you need to flip channels to Fox to see history made.

Your prediction results and leaderboard ranking will automatically show up in any posts made here. If you want to embed your full listing of picks you can do that also.   Your picks, as well as a link to embed the image, and the top of the site-wide leaderboard will all be available in the right column on this thread.

Enjoy the fights and good luck in your predictions!

REMINDER: as a courtesy to those not watching Bellator until later, please do not post spoilers in this thread.

@lawman which fights meant more?   and I'm not talking about being more relevant in terms of competition.  in terms of being more significant to the growth and development of MMA.

the only fights i could put in the same category as this are forrest griifin vs stephan bonnar because of the widespread attention it gave the sport..and brock lesnar vs randy couture because it was the first mega fight that got attention from espn, cnn, fox, and other major outlets.

It's not the most important fight in ufc history because it's for the heavyweight title @kayak.. It's because it's the first fight on network tv and its for the heavyweight title ....

I consider Griffin vs Bonnar the most important fight, because it was do or die for the UFC.  the fight single-handedly created a huge surge of interest in the UFC that arguably saved the company and put them in a position to be as successful as they are today.  Without Griffin vs Bonnar, a lot of us might not even be MMA fans.

I consider Brock vs Mir at UFC 100 the biggest fight, because everything with Brock is "bigger", because there was far more standalone casual fan interest in the fight itself, and because it shattered the UFC's pay per view records by a huge margin.

I consider tonight's Cain vs JDS the most significant fight, because it signifies the UFC becoming a mainstream sport in the way that no other previous fight comes close to.

You cant argue that Bonnar/Griffin was the most important fight for the UFC.

@lawman interesting choice. I agree you can construct an argument around the relevance/significance of what that fight represented, being the first ever UFC fight.

another big time fight...granted not as big in development of ufc...was royce vs hughes..that fight signified the evolution of the sport...just like gsp vs hughes 2 did....

but a fight that is getting lost here is tito vs chuck 1....that drew HUGE numbers..i think it was the first million buy ppv
