UFC 242: Khabib vs. Poirier

Past 2 years, you have 2 fights to judge. One fight where Khabib dominated on the feet without throwing a significant strike (Iaquinta)..and the other where he dropped the "best striker" in the division or ufc blah blah blah. In his 2 most recent fights, Khabib has spent more time on the feet. Which to the mass-pop should play into Dustins chances.

You're 100% on. Even if Khabib gets the TD and you get back up, its already too late. You're already mentally-distraught and or tired. This fight will be no different. Khabib is going to play with the "Diamond". Drag him down deep then let him float to the surface. Use a round and a half to let his prey thrash on the surface (throw & miss strikes while building false-hope) before dragging him back down again and again and again until he drowns. Rinse & repeat. 27 times its worked. 

Dustin is a creature who needs Hope. Momentum. Love. That's how he wakes up, that's how he faces the darkness. Admirable to some but relatable to most. 


Khabib doesn't need any of that. Most people still don't know he's a father. Most never will. Besides his father, family is second to combat and 3rd to religion. Always. 

Dustin is a family-first provider who is good at fighting. Khabib is a mass-murderer who tricked a girl into letting him breed out of "propriety".

@Bruce Dagestani culture consists of farming Goats and worshipping a pedarast. Outside of wrestling, it is known for nothing at all. Dagestan is far from a dominant civilization. It is barely one at all.

Beckan vs CDF is a 1000% more intriguing and exciting match-up IMO. 


Ferreira has the exact style & skill to pick up a DEC vs Taisumov. Look at what CDF did to Khabilov. That was an incredible performance. CONSTANT pressure & grappling exchanges. That's exactly what it takes to beat Mairbek. 

Taisumov has been bouncing back& forth from Thailand to Chechnya like usual. Visa issues in the rear-view (for now at least). 

CDF pulled vs Trinaldo with kidney stones but that was like 4 months ago & picked up right where he left off. 


I expect this to be an all-out war! Taisumov has something to prove & Carlos Diego has nothing to lose!
