The fighters weighed in this morning/afternoon and everyone's set for Saturday night.

Prelims kick off on UFC Fight Pass at 6pm ET before switching to FS1 at 8pm. PPV main card touches down at 10pm.

Not expecting a terribly competitive main event, but the co-main should be fun and the rest of the main card has some good stuff going on.

While I agree Cruz was a bit of a ****, he's said in the past he's unwilling to be cordial with Faber because he knows what's going to happen Monday morning.

Faber is one of the most excuse-filled fighters in UFC history. Granted, he was all class in defeat last night, but he immediately started selling his teammates as being able to beat Cruz. Cruz's rivalry is with Team Alpha Male, not Faber. He'll keep it going until he beats the whole team. He basically already has.

This was probably my worst ufc event for picks which usually would get me way down , but the quality and movie esque play out of this event has made me rethink my life ... I still have the shakes from that Hendo-Anderson kick-elbow and elbow bomb  , the ortega on the brink come back , bisping,  poirer putting stamp down, Korean / Mexican zombie war, wilson / da silva rock em sock em, Dariush's fury , Dan f*cking Hendo. .. There was something in the air this night ... The event that kept giving ..  ( presser was gold too ..) what an intense event

@skel sorry for cutting over you there

I think there one thing to stay competitive and another thing to keep insisting Faber taking advantage of his teammates and friends. Cruz repeated it more then once at the press conference, personally thought that was going a bit far. Then he goes and says it 2 or 3 more times. Just kinda seemed like an ******* move and really not called for.  Thought Luke was a bigger **** by far, but thought Cruz was pretty ****** himself.

Good lord I got pretty drunk last night but what a card! So glad Reyes/Kim got the recognition it deserved, it really did set the tone for the rest of the night. So many great performances it's tough to pick a favorite, with Andrade laying down the law, Ortega coming from behind, Dariush bouncing back with a killer knockout, and Dan ***********ing America Henderson getting one of the strangest and brutal knockouts in recent memory! However, Bisping pulling off what everyone thought would need to be a miracle is the very reason I love this sport so much. I found the UFC through season 3 of TUF and he has always been one of my favorites to watch regardless of his brash personality, so seeing him reach the pinnacle of the sport was one of my favorites moments in UFC history.

Fair enough. Cruz is a competitive dude. He reminds me of Bisping and I don't blame people for not liking his attitude.

I don't think he's a guy that puts rivalries to bed easily. You can see even after the fight. He was very hesitant to even touch Faber. Faber has always said as much, but Cruz dislikes Faber much more strongly than Faber dislikes Cruz.

Skeli is right. The rivalry is with alpha male. One of the ways he gets ubder their skin is by downplaying their skills. He knows who Cody Garbrandt is. The guy is ranked in his division and just headlined a fight night even. X Cruz knows what hes doing. He wants cody no love good and emotionally invested

Anyone else kinda just want them to put on Hendo vs Bisping 2? I know, I know ranking wise it makes no sense, but it Dan ******* Henderson and well, I would not mind that being his fair well fight. Bisping gets his shot at revenge and doubt he mind that.

@Franklin880088  No.  I want Henderson to retire.  He doesn't need anymore brain damage, and especially damage caused by a top Middleweight fighter like Bisping.  He should have retired after his fight with Vitor.

I want to see Hendo Bisping 2 so that the former can win a UFC belt.

Well of course,  but it looks unlikely the UFC will give him a cushy job like Chuck and Matt.  Which I was calling for after his last fight. I mean if he going to keep fighting, which seems very possible unless the UFC offer him a Hughs like job.  If so, I rather he get a big pay day from it at least. Also it would be entertaining and would watch, is all im saying.

I don't like the Bisping-Hendo fight, personally.

I'd like to see Bisping vs. Weidman at MSG in November. If not that, then Jacare.

Let Rockhold get another win or 2 and if by some craziness Bisping is still champ the trilogy fight would have time to build hype.

Wouldn't hate an immediate rematch, although there are too many of those these days.

Hendo should retire but if he wants one more I hope it's against Bisping for the title.

@rappinpap, Hendo has no chance in hell against Bisping in a rematch.

People keep getting enamoured by Hendo's wins over fighters that are either slow enough to get hit by him (Shogun, Boetsch) or stupid enough to get hit by him (Lombard).

Bisping is neither.

Hendo plugging along is pretty damn impressive, don't get me wrong, but seriously, look at his fights. First of all in his wins over Shogun and Lombard he could've easily lost, just depending on if the ref wanted to stop the fight or not. When Lombard was in his guard he was OUT, staring into the light, they were both basically exactly like both the Vitor fights except the ref didn't jump in and Dan could recover (he's always had amazing recovery). So yeah, even in his wins he was basically out both times and this time the ref gave him a moment. That doesn't mean I'm claiming he should've lost the fights, just that he doesn't have the ability to not get hit anymore. He's SLOOOOWWW!

Secondly, if a fighter has just regular speed and a smidgen of fight IQ, Dan can't hit him with anything. Again, not taking anything away from Hendo, he's a legend, but Bisping is way too fast, crisp, smart and post-traumatized from their last encounter to get hit by Dan. He'd pick him apart and most likely end him in the championship rounds.

I think Bisping vs Jacare should be next Weidman lost his chance just like Cain did aginst Werdum when he couldn't make the fight, Jacare has already paid his due

People were saying that the first time they fought too. The main arguments were..

a) Bisping is too fast
b) Bisping's cardio edge
c) Bisping's footwork edge
d) Hendo's too predictable

I would certainly not put it past Hendo to H-bomb the **** out of Bisping again.

@mikey, I agree with you except for the fact that when they first fought Hendo still had some explosiveness left in him AND I think the most important factor I think will make it very ahrd to repeat is that it has already happened.

Bisping has the memory of it (or more likely the memory of the thousands of GIFs, memes, highlights, etc) living in him. He'll be more cautious of it.

Also, Bisping, I think has actually got better since that fight while as Hendo is in the decomposing stage of his career.
